Having once served with the 82nd. Airborne MP - we were trained for domestic riot control. 82nd. Airborne was effectively deployed in Washington D.C. and in Detroit (1968) where I lived during the riot. Detroit was glad to receive the 82nd. Airborne to restore order. There was looting (by whites and blacks), arson and even the shooting of firemen who responded to arson set fires. The police and national guard were not enough. Wake up. Journalist ought to take more history courses. So far I have watched 4:23 mins of this but it reminds me of Jordan Peterson's interview with Cathy Newman. Interviewer makes numerous false and misleading statements and the interviewee repeatedly corrects her with facts.

If you’ve been to a big demonstration or rally such as the one that was staged at Lafayette Park, you would realize that the people are constantly moving. Your friend was attending but you did not see each other, media was also moving, So for her to show the footage of a few demonstrators is a lie. She ought to be ashamed of herself for doing that to AG Barr who was civil enough not to embarrass her.

@Pamela Cassise if you're a peaceful protestor in the middle of violent protestors/rioters/looters, and you get pepper balled, gassed, shot with a rubber bullet, etc.... that is NOT the police or Trumps fault, that would be YOUR fault for sticking around the moment the crowd decided to riot. Police see a crowd of violent rioters, they shoot pepper balls etc... they're not gonna search for 1 or 2 peaceful protestors to try and avoid hitting them. If you're in the middle of the riot, you will be classified as 1 of them.

That's so not true. She's asking questions to clarify what he's saying. Barr is a fairly competent commentator on his position, but his philosophy on the president's supreme power forces any decent reporter to ferret that position out. Not to mention the stupidity of this president and our current situation questioning police in general. It's like my previous sentences, they question the logic of your understanding. You probably didn't have a challenging education based upon your comment.
