who else did you think he'd be bringing? everyone knew Matt Patricia was gonna follow him like a puppy dog into any job Bill might have got, because who else does Bill have lol he doesn't trust anyone, he doesn't work well with others, therefore all he had around him was know nothing doofus bozo yes-men like Patricia/Judge etc
and even without them, you really wanted a guy running your team who in recent years thought the keys to success were running Brady out of town and hiring a failed defensive coordinator to develop Brady's replacement, who was nothing but a noodle arm entitled trust fund kid? this was the kind of vision you were hoping for? lol why do you think nobody in the league wanted him

of course they were part of the package, Bill doesn't trust anyone, he can't work well with others, so all he has left at this point is know-nothing doofus yes-men like Patricia/Judge
can't build a roster, can't build a coaching staff, can't identify talent anymore, and he's too stubborn to admit it... there's a reason a man with all those past accomplishments had zero interest in a league that LOVES big splash hires, ticket selling and marketing big names etc... if Bill was even remotely competent at this point, teams would have been lining up

I think Ozzie Newsome was in Cleveland with him. Just look at the staff on that Cleveland team. He did talk to the media. He would crack the occasional joke. After Spygate, he closed the circle of trust. No new blood came in, no new ideas, no one to say no to him. After Spygate, he stopped developing coaches and front office personal. He just got yes men after that.

This is probably why Bellichick doesn’t have a gig. Billionaire owners want people working for them to kiss their rich a-ses. Hell, everyone does. But I’m sure the Falcons weren’t thrilled with the idea of hiring someone who has too much power. But Bellichick’s last few years in New England were a disaster and that didn’t help much either. If I were an owner I wouldn’t hire Bellichick if he’d say he’d work for free. It wouldn’t be worth it. I’d want sone young, healthy offensive-minded guy who can take advantage of the new stupid rule changes in the NFL.

yeah the only reason Bill didn't get a job is because he's not good anymore.... it's not because he's old, it's not because he would demand control, it's not because Robert Kraft might have said something...... none of that would matter whatsoever if Bill was still good at the job, if he'd shown at any point in recent years that he's even remotely capable of re-creating that old winning formula..... the simple fact is that he's not a good GM, he can't build a good coaching staff around him because he only trusts his recycled yes-men like Patricia/Judge etc, we've seen what Bill's way gets without Brady and it's 100% a losing formula, especially in 2024 and beyond

If Belichick didnt fly off the rails with the Pats the past few years, I would have loved him in Dallas, but then again, hes probably not available if that doesnt happen.
Lastly, and it sucks when youre older and realize the show is over, but his age is a major problem.for anybody hiring him. As a kid, and a Cowboys fan, most of us hated when Tom Landry was fired, or atleast the way it was handled. That being said, and I say this even IF Jimmy Johnson didnt take over and win us three Superbowls, IT WAS TIME to move on from Coach Landry. You get old in life, things change, and you just arent as sharp or have the same energy as you did when you were younger. The NFL is BRUTALLY competitive, and it is a younger mans game.
I dont think that Belichick was totally carried by Tom Brady. He had a part in Bradys development as well, and atleast gets SOME credit for his success, and especially that defense, which was a big part of the Pats success as well. But all good things come to an end, and as sad as it is, I think it has for Bill as a head coach. D coordinator? Fine, but he doesnt want that demotion, and I cant blame him for that.

it's not "shitting" on Bill, it's just recognizing the simple fact of reality that he isn't good anymore, that the league passed him by and he was too stubborn to ever admit it and adapt accordingly
i'd say your notion of any form of criticism equating to "shitting" on someone is more of a losers mentality than anything i've heard about this topic (PS - i was "shitting" on Bill years ago, seen this coming from miles away)

Bill assistants was trash for the same reason Bill is. Truth and reality is without Brady he's been trash his whole career. He was trash in Cleveland and was trash in NE before and after Brady. He's not who he thinks he is neither. He's a defensive coordinator control freak and breed a coaching tree of narcissistic people who can't relate to men. Atlanta did right

Belichick was not a general. He was a dictator. The General was always Brady. Belichick and his coaches got exposed when they didn't have Brady.

Belichick needs to go the Jets where they NEED a hard nosed coach to take full control and establish discipline and a winning culture in that disfuctional organization!
