Obergiesing to TUM Garching - the full ride to work on my Surly Bridge Club

- There was that one day with some sunny weather shortly ahead of the Holidays. So I decided to do the full trip from my apartment to my work at Garching Research Center.
On the thumbnail you can see the Christmas Market at TUM in Garching.
My lunch which was home-made Katsu-don (カツ丼) did only make it into the thumbnail. I miss Japan and this food always reminds me of it. Even though I use 鶏肉 instead of 豚肉
Your night ride is cool. Having a train ride with your bike. Anyways safe rides always especially at night 💯
Your Bridge Club is very good versatile bike. Going anywhere on and off road with those fat tires. You can carry your luggage for holiday cycling tours.
Also you show that you do not need a car inside München/ Munich, taking your bike and subway/ train will do. Despite that Munich quite large: 20 X 20 km/ 12 X 12 miles.

200 km. and it was fantastic, would like to do it again

About the weather: I recently moved to the Oberpfalz from Hawaii, where it's sunny almost all the time. I didn't like the constant heat and UV burning my skin. I think it's better to have some grey skies sometimes.

.... such a relaxing ride! especially on a robust bike like a surly!...YES! i would like to see this ride on your Brompton because i finally bought my 1st Brompton (C-Line Urban, Lacquer Black, Dynamo Lights, Rack, Brooks B17 Special) . . . and i'm in love!!! ...with the Brompton 😁
