It’s all a part of legal strategies, tie up the courts time, get more time to build a defense, defense attorneys rack up more billable hours, people go missing, etc. etc. Observing what’s happened so far it’s unlikely he’ll get bail. Maybe, in worst case scenario, he could possibly get a temporary release, for a death in the family.
