Nice to see an example that covers transforms, comparisons, expressions, config references, preconditions, and string alignment in a single video. Great work, doc!
A superb video from a genius. Thank you so much Sebastian for sharing your knowledge, I have the hardware so no excuses, I will be building this. I always look forward to your great videos. :)
Hi. First of all thanks for the great video. I learned a lot following along. Now I'm trying to transform it to a radio panel. I git the point where I can display the Com Frequencies like so: C1 123.456/123.456 C2 123.456/123.456 But now I would like to have the indicator behind the lines so I can change which line I'm manipulating. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks
Hello, help, I want to make the transponder to use on Fsx or xplane. But there are some event ids that I cannot find . And can you also tell what to do whenever we don’t find any event id please.
Great video. However, once I change the transponder code completely and return back to change the 1000 again, I am unable to as the inputs are no longer satisfied. Any ideas on how to fix this??
Look forward to them. Particularly interested in “long push”, I’ve seen the explanation on the wicki but didn’t really understand how to implement it for the gsx530 left and right knobs.
Hi Sebastian, thnx for this great video. I followed it image by image creating my home cockpit. However I am not able to change the transponder mode in the Fenix a320. When I change the code with the mouse in MSFS, the output from msfs2020 into my lcd display works fine. But vice verse is does not work. When turning the knobs, the caret moves, the digits change on the lcd and can be adjusted. But it does not show in the transponder display in Fenix. So, it doesn't 'come through'. I checked Hubhop for any other output, but nothing found there. Any idea how this can be solved? (Maybe build an artificial keyboard?)
i am not a fenix user myself - i can only recommend to ask your question on our discord again - i know that we have very knowledgeable mobiflight users who are using fenix
Thank you so much for your hard work. I am brand new to flight simulators. I need to start with FSX because I just can't justify the cost of a new computer and the one I have doesn't have enough resources to support X-Plane or 2020. My question to you is if you have any plans to add Leonardo and or Nano boards to Mobiflight . I am asking this because Nano's are about 4 bucks with header pins on Amazon while Mega's and Uno's are 3 or 4 times that. I don't want to sound cheap but I am disabled and an extra 10 is hard to come by. Again, thanks so much.

you state that Hardware used in the tutorial:- 1604 LCD screen. My research shows 1604 as 4 line, 1602 is 2 line which appeard to be what you are using. Is this a typo?
Hello, I have a question: Can I use Mobiflight to simply assign keys or key combinations from MSFS without a module? eg. With the A320 from FBW I would like to put the ECAM buttons (DOOR, HYD, ELEC, to. Cofig.) on a button board for my home cockpit. And don't always pan and click with the mouse on the screen. And if yes, how does it work?? Because you can't use the standard MSFS keyboard layout. Thanks in advance!
I am not sure if i understand your question but you can assign all Mobiflight functions also to your joysticks. You can check on hubhop if the input event is already in the database
Yes, but also the ECAM functions keys that go "only" to control with the mouse. And I want to put these on a small keyboard like in the cockpit in front of the LOWER Ecam display. Because now it's only possible in the virtual cockpit of the Airbus. Because you can't set them in the BASIC KEYBOARD SETTINGS menu of the SIM. These are missing there.

Hello Sebastian. Can we have some tutorial for beginners please but updated to the 9.00 series of Mobiflight. The tutorial on the website is very puzzling for us beginners.
You are the KING! Mobiflight is just the BEST solution to build a home cockpit. Thnak you so much. Plus your explanations make it so accessible🤩
thanks for your feedback!!!

thanks! especially mf variables was added recently and i thought it is interesting to see how all these things can play together
BRAVO !!!
thanks!
Awesome. Love to learn about the advanced topics. Happy new year
Awesome! Thank you!
Hello, Nice video, thanks
But how to connect the lcd to the arduino board? do you have a wiring schema ?

sounds like once you incremented to the 4 digit, when you advance it goes to the 5 instead of 0. Check the formula there.
Answered a lot of questions, thanks. Would love to see some more like this.
i will try to make more tutorials

@@9brian99 ok - i can see that that requires some explanation- great idea!
what buttons did you use? I like the arrows, but can't find them.
What do you mean exactly?
@@MobiFlight at ~ 1:24, where you can see the transponder, you can see 1 and 2. I just realized now they weren't arrows and I was remembering wrong.
Can you use an OLED display? If so could you also set the font size and type so it looks like the real deal?
You can do that as a Custom Device which is a new feature of MobiFlight and will be released soon.

only i2c
