Thanks for the video. This book nook is on a whole other level, comparing it to others. There are many challenging aspects, inasmuch as you have to assemble many of the parts. With the train, I ended up getting some micro drill bits and drilled holes for the wire to be glued securely into.
yes! it's very unique but also a bit challenging 😅 glad it worked out in the end and you finished it!
Wow looks amazing I just got kit for birthday think it will take some time to do thank you for marking video ❤
Hope you like making it!
I'm going to make this now. This video is exactly what I need. Thank you for uploading the video.😊
glad you like it, thank you for watching!
This christmas book nook is magical.. Great work!
It really is!
Hi, how do you cut the pink paper over hang on the inside? And also how do you stick the window on? Mine just slides through. Thanks
can you tag the time for the pink paper you are asking? As for the windows, it's probably cut too much and it doesn't have anything to attach itself to - place the book nook flat on one side, with the window part flat on your mat, place the window in the frame and try to glue it on the sides, so the glue can fill the spaces between the window and the frame. If it doesn't work, as a replacement, buy some acetate sheets for the windows, you can buy them from amazon. Let me know how it works!
So sorry I didn't explain properly, it's the pink tape that goes on around the window before the window itself goes in at 2:05 on on your video. I've attached it and it's flush on the outside part but has an overhang on the inside. Is that right? Many thanks
you can trim it, it depends to you if you'd like to do that
Love it! How do you tie the small bows? they always give me problems
I've made a short with 2 ways of making the mini bows, let me know if it's not clear enough ❤️
Me too, hate them 😆
im stuck on the wiring at the end.....i wish the video had some speaking instructions
can you tell me what you need help with? I might help you with some suggestions
What batteries go in this kit ?
there's a link in the description, 3x LR44
hii!! i’m making this at the moment and have been having problems with the LEDS- mine didn’t come labelled so how did you know which is which? thanks!
Hi, always test the lights prior to installation, just in case one doesn't work. Identify the black one by testing them with the battery box wires and use a marker to label the black one. Be sure the mark is in a visible location so you won't have issues when doing the wiring. Hope this helps :)
@@ancadiyadventurescan i also ask what batteries you used and how many?
I've added the link in the description, they're 3x LR44 batteries
Hello. Nice work! I have started to build this book nook, but I don't understand that. At 33:05 near windows appear 2 new holes for leds. Did you use a drill? How did you made this 2 holes. thank you
you just need to pierce the paper with a hobby knife or something sharp, when adding those 2 lights it might be tricky to pin them in and the wholes need to be a bit enlarged. Hope this helps
@@ancadiyadventures Thank you. I have succeeded with this holes. I haven't seen those under holes, but now... I'm living a true nightmare. Those wreaths at 5:16. My glue didn't work. Today I'm going to try 2 different types of glue.
stick the wreath ends and clamp them together with something and leave them for 5 minutes or more; if this doesn't work try sticking the ends to the bow, maybe it'll be a bit more adhesive. Let me know how it goes
@@ancadiyadventures thanks. I have succeeded. From this point I hope nothing won't stop me.
you'll make it, it can be frustrating to make but it looks really nice once it's done
What glue do you use it?
there's a link in the description, the name is UHU
@@ancadiyadventures the one yellow and black?
yes and it has a big UHU black lettering
@@ancadiyadventures lovely! Already ordered it. 😊
