I appreciate the clarity regarding navigating our lives in spite of having suffered abuse and trauma like Joseph. Thanks for this video, very enlightening and helpful. 🙂

This is so true. We need to learn to see God’s hand in our circumstances instead of becoming a victim.
I had a major set back in my life that caused me to live among very simple people. I decided not to be victimized but to learn compassion for those less fortunate, remembering how God allowed Joseph to suffer before he was elevated.
Now it’s my turn and I am being elevated into the world of billionaires, but because of these few years of living simply, I will never forget and will always see the poor with great compassion and work to relieve their suffering.

Joseph is bright energy of life which is not humble. He does not hide his light and this makes the brothers jealous because they are dimmer in his presence. They put Joseph in a pit which symbolizes closing him off from The light. Joseph is bartered into the commercial awareness of our world. A higher awareness becomes a prisoner of the lower awareness. Less true energy comes into the open world and the inprisoned light is used by the lower awareness. This creates a famin of true energy and knowledge. Goodness is eaten by the selfish.
The higher thought of Joseph works within the lower awareness. Joseph distributes God's goodness openly and fairly. Unfortunately Pharaohs son uses the energy for selfish control. This is when the individual mind looks for a spiritual escape. The worldly mind will not let go until it is shown the truth of God.
    Peace be with you.

Well said. The only thing I would add is that Joseph most likely asked God for something, maybe for some kind of knowledge that was only attainable in that particular way.
I asked God for some self knowledge a while back. Not long after I was on a job trying to drill a 4” hole in a 2x4. The whole saw was dull so I replaced it with a new one. The sharp one got caught in the grove, kicked back and it hit me in the face.
I went to my truck to assess the damage I could see my teeth without having to open my mouth.
My youngest was still using diapers then so I had some in the truck. I used the diaper to manage the blood. I went back inside, picked up the tools, called my wife and she located the nearest hospital.
I went to the hospital, the doctor asked me what I wanted, I asked to be patched up and sent home.

Joseph was a foreshadowing of Christ the Messiah, he forgave and saved his own brothers who sold him into slavery, he also saved many Gentiles in Egypt.

I think the bible was extracted from much larger works of writing.
If you can find the testaments of the sun's of Jacob a few differences show up and clarity of the picture presented in the bible turns into a detailed story.
The testament of Joseph for example talks a great deal more about this Egyptian woman that wanted to sleep with him. It was not a one night stand where Joseph ran away from her. No she spent months pampering him, leading him i to her desire of sex.
Add he failed and even when he was in Prison Joseph said he would pray and while he prayed he heard her out side of his cage, moaning. I presume a sexual moan.
She was a Memphian woman of Pentiphri who the bible calls Potifah.
The testimonies often reference the book of Enoch which is fascinating and the boys of Jacob often reffer to the coming of Christ.
