Young people are so obsessed with becoming rich and powerful they can be easily manipulated. I have come across 26yr olds struggling with debt because they tried to live a life they cannot afford. Very sad and disheartening.

I think this idea comes from society and people close to them giving this false idea of happiness is if you are able to achieve making lots of money but either these people have never made money enough to make ends meet or too selfish enough to reveal some of the dark sides that comes with achieving financial success at a young age like how it can affect your mental health and the amount of responsibility that young people may really not be prepared for it themselves. I personally find nothing wrong with young people aspiring to become rich but wanting power can be quite dangerous to society and to themselves if not controlled properly.
People aren't supposed to be hopping from one place to another searching for God when God is a spirit and is anywhere that you are. Most of these young people or people in general who go to these monsters for salvation are really looking for prosperity with a magic twist, it involves not working for money. Not looking for God.

No parishioners should be pressured to give money. That's not the point of tithe - tithe originally was what people could give and in the olden days sometimes people gave food or physical items. When I go to church, I'm not pressured to give any money. A real church doesn't pressure, harass or force parishioners into debt. I am hoping and praying the victims understand that there are real churches out there that can support them.
It was so Jesus could bring pigeons or lambs to sacrifice to God, the "left overs" fed Levites. We don't thith anymore...Malachi 3:16, as we don't have a temple, with Levites & most of us are Jewish. Aside from that, Jesus is the Lamb of God, the sacrifice. It is all about Him now. Certainly a church needs to pay its bill, but never let anyone tell you that you "owe" God a thith. I know a Pastor who worked an outside job till he retired & God always paid church lights bill. A Pastor need not be a person whose got 4 planes, 6 cars 2 houses, and 3 closets. Ridiculous. I dont nor could I pay any man like that. So If I cant, Im not paying anyone else. Nor did God tell me to.
People, but especially black people, we need to not be fear mongered and gaslit by these so called pastors and “spiritual leaders”, because the focus of this documentary is SPAC Nation, but unfortunately, there are many other churches that operate in the same manner/with the same ethos. If you do believe in God, it is important to make sure that you are acting under God’s instruction and His only. And to do that you need to build a personal relationship with God so that nobody can tell you what and who He is to you. What He wants of you, other than God Himself. In addition to this, we need to invest in becoming more financially literate. It helps us to not fall into the traps that many of this church’s victims fell into. Much love ❤️

My aunt got caught up by someone claiming he can fill paperwork to get a loan then have it written off in a few months (She didn't think she could get one) She told loads of people who lined up got loans paid thier percentage to the guy then months later the bills kept coming! My mum declined and pressed for an explanation on how exactly he can do this and my aunt was offended asking "who are you not to want free money" clearly she never had a clue. My mum told her "There are many ways to lose, money is the easiest to replace" My aunt lost friends over greed.

I saw a documentary (I think it was on BBC 3) about this 'church' and they literally get on coaches and travel to different cities to 'recruit' new members.. I remember thinking it was very Cult like.
Alot of us young people who get sucked into these cult-like churches are just looking for hope and bright future esp if they come from impoverish backgrounds. White people I met all are atheist. My white neighbor's mom was a Christian. But my neighbor (80) is an atheist. Her daughters are and her grand kids, too.
I was in Italy for a couple of months. White Millenials are Catholics but they barely go to Church. They are religious but do not practice it. They do not do it as much as the older generation.
I travel a lot. I see a lot and I enjoy knowing about other people's customs/traditions and culture.

I don't blame pastors. I blame the members who are too lazy to read their own Bible and have a personal relationship with God. More so, you see graduates who have a brain but wouldn't even discern what is being said to them. If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. The soul always knows what to do. I saw a documentary (I think it was on BBC 3) about this 'church' and they literally get on coaches and travel to different cities to 'recruit' new members.. I remember thinking it was very Cult like.
Alot of us young people who get sucked into these cult-like churches are just looking for hope and bright future esp if they come from impoverish backgrounds. Thes churches prey on these souls and minds, since they are already vulnerable to be "won over" unfortunately. This is why self love and hard work/discipline is inner work tht needs to be done and taught within homes.

This is absolutely disheartening, that people are being taken advantage of but also that they are doing this in name of God, it discourages people to actually draw into having a real relationship with God, His Living Word (Bible) and it discourages them from having anything to do with the Christians community. We will all have to account to God one day. To me, this is evil and I do not believe this will go unpunished, whether the justice happens on earth or at Judgement Day.

The crimes have already been reported to the Police. Some of these scammers are currently being investigated by fraud agencies. Some have been arrested and are currently in jailed. It is slow but eventually they will be dealt with with justice.
