actually not dued im sorry but the east coast has it worst you guys barely get any snow we have to shovel out tons of snow just to skate a spot shit sucks everything on the north west is all creamy and smooth. smh
@@idontwantone132 sorry bud, but here on the east coast we have such shit spots that u just gotta barge them...and freds the heavyweight champion of skating shit that i would just post up and smoke a cigarette.
The northwest just gets a lot of rain. I’m in New England not far from Jersey and the fucking terrain is terrible over here. Everything is trashed from the fucking snow and plows and then all the salt and sand they fucking spray. Shits raw.
My top 3 favorite skaters of all time are Fred Gall, Ricky Oyola and Matt Reason R.I.P. I'm from Dirty Jersey too from around Camden and am around the same age as all 3 of these guys and I remember skating LOVE park and City Hall and all the Philly spots seeing these dudes fuckin rip shit up... Damn I wish I could go back in time and relive it all over again... It's fuckin awesome to see Fred and Ricky still shredding and if Matt was still with us he'd be doing the same R.I.P. brother...
I lived in NYC next to Fred for a while, use to love seeing him skate around and hes a very friendly kind person as far as my experience has been, I wish the best for him.
its awesome that he is giving his grandma some company. i mean since he is pro of course he can afford his own apartment at least but he wants to spend his time with his grandma......i like that cus i would do the same for mine too.
I think I skated with him in 1991 at the Perth Amboy Highschool. It was one of the best spot back then in the area. He is from Sewaren 6:07 which is right next to it. He is 2 years younger than me though.
Oklahoma is the same way, there's no good spots down here. 11 years back if me & my cousin were to skate out in cali or something we would've been out there with the pro's & am's but unfortunately there wasn't enough support. But we were happy to see kyle walker & clint walker make it, we skated with kyle alot when he was a little kid. 26 now so it's official, skating for fun lol,
Fred is amazing. He rides spots that most skaters avoid. thats what makes him great. also those switch tricks back when he was a kid man. my only switch trick was heel but sketchy. just bought his deck. hyped.
Fred Gall is the shit!! That hagared bank to wall ride right at the beginning says it all... the pavement is super rough and beat to hell, Freddy just kicks the pebbles out of the way, pulls it, and then says, "over it, lets go to another spot." Thats what skateboarding is all about! Fred Gall fucking goes to a spot and makes it work and then wants to move on. I've been removed from the skate scene for a while so I cant really talk any shit but I really hope that there are still dudes like Gall, Kelch, Oyola, etc... dudes who rip for the right reasons...
Lots new skate content lately on Vice and I’m super stoked watching all of the new Rick McCrank stuff etc Wish they would bring Epicly Laterd back to start documenting the Joslins, Walkers, Jaws’ and so on..
when I was younger I stole so much crap to bring home to skate but back then I really wasn't thinking about stealing. it wasn't even in my mind that I was doing something bad. I just wanted that train track to skate instead of paying $120 for a skate rail from zumiez or that pallet behind the grocery story but it was flat on the top as a good manual pad. now i'm almost 30 and I see it as stealing but not at 16-18. the train track took two people and I remember it going to my friends house, my other friends house, and my house at one time. took two people to move it and you had to put it on a board to move it.
Fred's grandma looked to me like that person who knows the (ugly) truth but refuses to admit it and instead tries to cover it with a smile. Fred is a great skater and also (as anyone can understand from his interviews) an alcoholic, drug addict, drug dealer, and involved in some violent episodes. I'm not judging, I'm just talking about that grandma that looked worried to hide the reality.
MrMendo76 Seems like its really affecting his life and his relationship with family. he def should have given skating up so long ago, right?Youre a cheesedick
most amatuers and pros live in tents. unless your a really big pro and up there like the ones that made it into tony hawks pro skater games, those are the ones who are making better wages than minimum wage plus those prizes from skate comps.
i miss Grandma... she always welcomed me into the crib and was a true G. much love from staten island.
Rest in Peace Grandma' .... you were a legend in woodbridge.
Fred deserves a much longer episode.
Fred deserves every episode.
"i was very proud of him",,lol i love grandmas,,this dude is a beast
Fred gall is the epitome of jersey skating. Skate everything no matter how crusty
R0b1zzle137 just like Seattle and the northwest. our shits crustier. we get way more shitty weather

Nice to see my fellow jersey native shred. I wish I was more into skating as a kid so I could appreciate my local legends
FRED GALL is a legend.
its awesome that he is giving his grandma some company. i mean since he is pro of course he can afford his own apartment at least but he wants to spend his time with his grandma......i like that cus i would do the same for mine too.

That's sick, you used to skate with Kyle! You ever get gnarly with rails with him back in the day?
Freddy always seems so appreciative. He was stoked on that Hosi board like he was stoked on the new bed. Cheers

His Ipath shoe was the best shoes I've ever skated...

If you call yourself a skater and don’t know Freddy you’re a poser.
I seen a video where Sean Pablo ask Mark Gonzales what makes a skater a real SKATER..
they said doing a 360 flip was the key..
wish i was pro so i could live with grandma
MrMendo76 Seems like its really affecting his life and his relationship with family. he def should have given skating up so long ago, right?Youre a cheesedick
+Mike Adamek he doesn't live at home. But simply takes you back to his roots. Grandma is awesome. She makes a mean sausage and peppers. I know her.
