It’s Bob Marley - it’s already guaranteed good , it’s just a question of HOW good ! I haven’t heard this one yet - be right back … Bogarde- this is the 2nd great choice from you recently , right on Bro ✊ It’s just music to live your life by , great message , great groove , Bob and the band and the backing singers all tight and loose in the right places - simply wonderful 👌 👍🏴
He has so many good songs besides his well known content and this is one of my personal favorites by him. I just love those short, heavy basslines so this song fits right in my alley. Add these lyrics and band and you got this as an amazing result. Like Rick said, now we see this maybe as a standard Bob Marley/Reggae groove but at the time of release this music was new and revolutionary. That whole Rastaman Vibration album is really good btw
I love Bob! Have you done "So Much Trouble in the World" yet? If not, you should. Another great song from the Survival album is "One Drop". If you want proper live Bob, i suggest you check out Live at the Lyceum...Thanks for the reaction.
I'd have to dig it out to be sure, but this doesn't sound like the version i have. Interesting! Also, I got an ad before the video started for holidaying in Canada, it seems RUclips has finally caught on!
@@Sandy-dd4le I don't have much on Vinyl but picked up a few as .flac over the Years. I have "Buffalo Soldier" on 12" somewhere as I really liked the Dub Versions of it.
The "normal stuff" is on Island Records studio albums but there are a mountain of other versions prior to and during his career on other labels and on Island. Pretty sure this is the version off Rastaman Vibration but i haven't listened for a while so happy to be corrected.
I've been a bit sore my back and left leg and hip have been giving me HELL and my right shoulder wants in on it as well 🤬 can't lift my arm above my head it locks up on me but I've got a pulse so it's all good 👍😊 every day above ground is a bonus. Nice song. The irony is that Bob, a native of Jamaica, spreads the word of peace and love, but if you go to Jamaica, you're likely to get a gun or knife pointed at you.
Thats excactly what he is singing about in all his songs. Isnt it even more respectful and something to think about if someone preaches this message who comes from one of the hardest of places on Earth and instead of going into crime, doing bad things, letting greed rule his agenda he keeps his faith and preached love among all the hate he experienced daily. Ambush In The Night is a great example, among many others, where he talks directly about this subject
Can't beat uncle Bob Marley his message his vibe his vocals are beautiful and his three little birds backing him MAGIC

You gotta react to Bob Marley live at the rainbow , Crazy baldheads is a good one to start with , But the whole concert is gold.
Try always the sun by the stranglers, or on the reggae sound try the earth dies screaming by UB40 sometime. Scott southern England.
We did The Earth Dies Screaming. We will add the other one to our list

He Recorded a few of his songs more than once as well as there being a few Remixes overthe Years.
@@SPKdesign1 tbh, its mainly the remixes and Dub versions that make up my Marley collection, I dont have a lot of the "normal" stuff
