My name is Kody and I am a video game collector and full time reseller documenting some of my great finds.

Nope you got shafted. If it was part of the deal, it's part of the deal. If it was a genuine mistake, then negotiate an alternative (like cash substitute). Also very intimidating with more people at the meet. Bring a friend next time. Keep the videos coming......love em

Yeah he definitely did you dirty. I would stop doing meet ups at night too. My friend got robbed at gunpoint last year at night during a meet up. If he said those games were part of the deal he should have brought them! Just my opinion

The lying game is strong down here in Florida as I've been to over 10,000 (10K since 2015 24/7 all year) yardsales and till today people lie for a quick sale. Like today lady and husband say, it's brand new, we never opened the box. I get here and BAM been opened and now I have a used dvd/VCR recorder for less profits. smh

That’s pretty much 95% of my FB marketplace deals😂. I once realised the games I bought were burned disc and made the girl come back. Another bundle I bought had litteraly every single games and consoles not working even though the guy told me everything was in working condition, he then proceeded to tell me I could not get my money back since the stuff he sold me was his friend’s who is in the hospital😂
If i was in your shoes i make sure it's daytime (night time sketchy af) and i make sure everything there if not deals off.
Yeah those nighttime meets always leave me in a vulnerable spot. Noted : )
Sometimes it's best to meet inside of an establishment when you're doing higher stakes deals like this, especially at night. Always trust your gut, it'll tell you what your brain's still processing. I do pickups out here in Stockton, CA and sometimes it can get a little spooky. Stay alert and if it's a ps5 or anything more than a hundred cash that you're bringing to the deal and you feel even slightly uncomfortable, meet inside a place and watch them leave first. Walk back to your car with 360 vision on hyper alert, get home safe. I've had to walk away backwards from a couple deals... not worth my life but I ain't getting punked either. Have fun 👍

I honestly think you're really skilled and gifted and I believe you can do anything you want to do in life. These game pickup videos are cool but I don't think it's going to be your main thing longterm. With your skills and charisma you can do A LOT more. I’d recommend not doing night time deals anymore and maybe doing them in a busy area where people are around for your safety. Shame that guy had taken pretty much all the good stuff out of the lot. Hopefully the consoles/controllers work at least…
Great video and sad reality of some deals😢. Gotta love the trade game and when things don’t work out the way you thought. I usually make the people take pics of what they are willing to give me before heading out. Then I will tell them to bring the stuff I want. I could’ve even told the person to go get the games. The trades deal are OP tho and keep up the great work, and I love the updates and all the listings for value wise. 🎉

@@k0dyw1thaKsucks that felons can't carry. If they've paid their debt to society, they should regain the full rights of any other citizen. am not an expert, but they do make some weapons felons can carry, like pepper ball things and such that still would provide decent protection!
That being said, good for you working hard and hustling to make a better life for yourself! Study after study shows the key to staying out of poverty and building wealth for yourself and your family is to get and keep a job, or earning a stable income, and you're clearly working hard to do just that.
Ugh. This is why I refuse to deal with those kind of people. Either the consoles are full of cigarette smoke/dust or the only games are Fifa. Hard pass.

If I was doing this trade, I would have passed without the GameCube stuff. I do a lot of garage sales and when I find a lot I always assume the consoles don't work and base the price on the value of the games. You don't know how many times I see a system and they say it works when they last used it and when I get home I find it has issues. While I'm sure you'll get your money back, nothing in the games scream as OMG great deal. Most of the games you got if I picked up would have gone in my trade bin to my local game store to get something better. Also I hope you don't have to sell off the collection, just update it to the $20,000 collection and so forth. till you finally hot the $100,000 collection. I've been VG collecting for 30 years and have close to a million dollar collection.
Last week I picked up 14 Nintendo Switch games for $40 and a GBC with 2 games for $10, Going out to the sales tomorrow, wish me luck.

The seller was wanting to meet at night, had his ‘sons’ with him, parked side ways ready to dip out, and conveniently didn’t bring the most valuable games. Yeah, i had something similar happen to me the guy didn't hose me but when i arrived he didn't have all the gamecube games he had sent me pictures of. I didnt notice till later. Still i got a huge lot value more than what i traded him.

It is not about too much, but the principle. He said he was giving you this but it was obvious he was doing you dirty. on top of that he brough muscle with him and at a deal at night. I have only ever done one PS5 trade, but it reminded me of your last two videos. No huge banger titles, and a bunch of work (dirty consoles that needed parts and testing). In the end I will have made maybe $5-600 after many hours of work, but it's fun to test consoles I otherwise have never had. It's actually where I got the 1chip SNES you taught me about last video.
Yeah a lot of the bread and butter trades are like these. Lots of work but profit nonetheless. But when those big ones come, they slap. Watch next weeks video 👍

You might want to reconsider the Xbox 360. The games are definitely going up in price since the digital store is going away in the summer. Lots of exclusives that are not backwards compatible on the newer consoles.

I’m currently going hard into an Xbox collection so much appreciation to dedicate a shelf for the Xbox history. The 360 holds a place in my heart since it was the first console I bought as an adult. But I do admit that the 360 is not my favourite after buying and using an Xbox one.
My favourite part of Xbox is the variety of controllers. Goal is to fill up a wall with wireless controllers and to have one of each console design wall mounted

Where is the best place to sell your old video games? I have recently been thinking of selling all my old games I had as a kid. Thank you.
eBay is the best place to sell your collection financially speaking. Of course you’ll pay 12-15% in fees to eBay and shipping costs as well as the time and mental real estate it’ll take, but that’s #1 for maximizing profit. Next best would probably be Facebook marketplace. Use pricecharting.com to find out how much your collection is worth, then take off 30% of the value and sell everything locally to a buyer. That’s going to be your fastest and easiest method.
