FPP is just about my favorite way to make tops. I saw Deb H. Flosstube and saw your bag she got Nancy she really liked it. So glad you two had so much fun. Guess what you two. I got to go to what was Hobby House Needleworks and is now Hobby House Landing to their new store. Wow was it awesome. I met David and his wife who are the owners. David gave Mike a tour. That was on Thursday. On Saturday I got to go hang out with Pam & Stephanie at Keepsakes Stitchery. I had a blast. I spent a fortune at both stores. Loved meeting all and getting stuff I needed plus stuff I just wanted. We are now home. I got the information on several retreats. Can't wait to get to go to one or more of them.
I'm like Nancy. I want the invitation, I want to go, but when the time to go comes....I just want to stay home. I'm more the collector than the doer! I have many quilt kits & cross stitch patterns kitted up, but I'm a slow stitcher who is happy watching Floss Tubers.🤪
Looks like you had lots of fun at the Maine retreat! That hike out to the Rockland Lighthouse is a long and scary one! I am happy that you were able to enjoy some of the fine cuisine in Maine! The bags you made in Tiger Lily’s class were cute! You were funny today, Walker was giving you a run for your money! Safe travels to your son’s graduation Jenny! Nancy, what a nice thing that your co-worker recognized you on bus driver day! You are both so fun! Happy stitching!
Hi ladies! So nice to see you! Great finishes ladies and good job on your wips. If you don’t want to use beads on the mermaids chart but want shiny you can use DMC etoile or Treasure Braid Petite thread. That will give you shine without beads. I needlepoint as well as cross stitch and I use all kinds of threads. I laughed when you found that needle and thread- I always am finding extra needles and bread in all areas of my house😝. Thank you for sharing happy Stitching!
I always have a chuckle or two when I watch your videos. I’m envious that my sister does not share any of my hobbies nor is she interested. I do however have a best friend and we are so close and have so many similarities that people frequently ask if we are sisters, we always have fun together. (I guess my sister from another mister.)Thanks for sharing your projects and haul. The retreat sounds like is was so awesome, in watching other videos of retreat participants, their thoughts and experiences were the same. Loved the pictures at the end. 😁 Thank you both!
I like the pink in don’t feed the plants. I finished my pre-stitch for PNPS this spring in KC. Now I have to pre-stitch anything for August. When that’s done, I just want to stitch something I want to, not a ‘have to stitch’. Love those tiny bags you got.
Looks like you all head a wonderful time at the Library Stitchers Retreat!! Love the Wips and those bags you ladies made were just lovely! I just got my sewing machine out of it's hiding place, fingers crossed that the tune up got the Gremlin out of it! 😆
Oh my...I get so behind on watching FlossTube but I always make it a point to watch you two because your videos are so much fun. I enjoy hearing about your adventures. Now that sprin is here, it's time to play in the garden.
A good visit, always fun to visit with y'all. Love seeing your work - love love "But God", both of your works. So spring has sprung? Not sure down here in S. Louisiana - rain, and up and down temps. I love your lab - mine black, Deucy Mae, is turning 2 June 1st, and weighs in at 75 pounds, she is a doll, chocolate dad that weighs 92 pounds, and my kids got the only chocolate pup, she is one tall lab and silly. Orange boots, love it! Have fun Jenny on your trip. Until next time. (loved all the retreat pics)
Nancy, hearing your story about your heavy backpack when we flew home with your boots, I want to share this with you. I have a passion for books so when we toured the UK, I bought books everywhere. My husband kept nagging me that I wouldn’t have room in my suitcase to bring them all home. My solution…I threw away my dirty underwear every day and a pair of old jeans of his. Can you imagine me leaving a trail of underwear all over the UK?? But, there’s more. When I packed to head home, I put all my books in my backpack to wear on the plane. Now, I’m 4’11” so that was a pretty big bundle. Got to Heathrow to catch the plane. I dropped my empty water bottle and when I leaned forward to pick it up off the floor, the weight of my pack dropped me like a rock. There I was flat out at Heathrow. Our travel agent/friend tells that story to her other travelers.
Love the beginnings of Spring , where everything smells fresh and new . Thanks for the great video once again . Off to make a table topper this afternoon. Enjoy your day !!
Love the rainbow mini quilt. I love FPP. I was binding a quilt while watching :) I'm in full quilt mode. I need to sandwich and quilt a quilt after this, then I am working on my first t-shirt quilt for my college kid. eeek.
Hi y’all! Fun video recap of the retreat. I, like you, ran on “retreat high” for several days, but then came crashing down. It was worth it though b/c I got to meet new stitchy friends like you two ☺️. Loved your Tiger Lily bags. They turned out great (Nancy, your fabric choices were awesome). (I also joined in on the class…..learned a lot). Sure hope we cross paths again at a retreat in the future. Happy Stitching
HaHa!!!! That’s right!!! Kari promised an intermission, didn’t she?! Shew!!! She is a machine and must CRASH hard at the end of each day. Sometimes too much energy for this introvert 🙋♀️
Oh my gosh you two!! I’m hurting from laughing so hard! It was a huge treat to get to meet the two of you in person! Next time hopefully we will be able to set closer to each other! Please be safe and well in your travels, and see you soon in your next video!
Hello Bougies, So happy for spring ! It was 80° in my garden today, yet I was all over three counties stitchy shopping. It will be 84° tomorrow so I may end up in my basement sewing spot under the Beatrix Potter quilt I need to work on. 🫠🙄😵 I was Hunkity Munkity~ in bed all day Friyay ~L♡L How did you say that!? Love all the photos! Good inspiration for things to do for my 2nd ever stitching retreat coming up this summer! 🎉🪡🧵💝
Those bags are adorable. I'm suffering from FOMO. I didn't sign up because I had just finished the beanie from her last class and didn't think I could add something else so soon but man, I now wish I had. *sad facde*
I love it when your Dogs make an appearence lol and loved Walker's singing, before you threw them out ha ha x It has been a cold , wet April here, so I hope Spring turns up for May! I am wondering how much difference using other threads make...I mainly use DMC or CXC which are very similar...but others that you mention seem a bit more expensive and wondered if they are worth it? Do they look better when stitched? Are they easier to use? Maybe you could please put a bit in a future floss tube explaining about different types of Floss...Please x 🌞
Another fun video. Fur babies are always fun, even when being annoying. Lovely stitching.
💜💜💜

The retreat sounds like it was a lot of fun. Now that Spring has arrived my garden is coming back to life.
I like the pink in don’t feed the plants.
I finished my pre-stitch for PNPS this spring in KC. Now I have to pre-stitch anything for August. When that’s done, I just want to stitch something I want to, not a ‘have to stitch’.
Love those tiny bags you got.
Your bags are GORGEOUS! Thanks for participating in the class ladies and I promise next time - intermission & gummy bears 😉
I have told everybody about your class!
That was fun! Thanks for sharing ❤
I’m looking forward to having a spring garden

Interested in Garden and Spring.
