Thank you Chantel. That was a wonderful video. I still have some of your boards but have not used them yet. I don't like painting so I've been putting it off. You make it look fun though.
The piece that I am interested in is the big frame for the 2022 Barn Star Cross stitch! I already have 6 of them finished and have saved the money for the purchase. I noticed that it is not on the website so I wanted to remind you to please add it. Thanks so much for all you do for your flosstube, I love it!
today I discover a little stitch in cross stitch. There is 4 little cross stitch in one stitch. We take only one thread instead of 2. It makes me crazy 🙃🙃 Your little pillow a so cute❤
Wow what a Mecca of a stitching shop! I can only imagine how that would feel entering it. Thank you for the construction and painting tutorial. Viewing a demo helps me to understand the concepts involved.
Thank you for your videos! I always learn a lot from them! I too live in Michigan. I live in Canton, MI. Between Detroit and Ann Arbor. I am sad that all of the cross stitch stores are gone. Nearest one now is in Monroe, MI about 45 minutes away. Not too bad. I haven't been there yet but plan on visiting Riverview Stitching soon! Thank you again!
I had a problem with the Slate linen also. I ended up doing it 1 thread over 2 on 32 count. I also used a magnifier light. Maybe having a light table underneath might help as well.
Thank you for this vlog, I enjoyed seeing how you see things that are available and the decisions that go into making your vlog. You are a good teacher! I also enjoy the fact you stitch on Aida, I often feel inadequate as that is my fabric of choice. Your instructions are a joy😍 THANK YOU
Yum, a chick fil a. Your creativity, your energy is so invigorating. Your brain is just buzzing. Oh my gosh , what a wonderful cross stitch shop. Thank you for the vlog.
Great tutorial! I love the idea of the pillows and will probably be making those. I also love that Aida you used. I need to get that color. I have a hard time with a dark black. Great video - thank you!
Hi Chantelle, I just love the idea of the pillows for the Mad for Plaid design. Thank you for the tutorial as well. Watching this vlog, I enjoyed seeing your ski trip and the areas you and your husband were in, like I-70 and the mountains you visited, my husband and I lived in Summit County for over 50 years and recently moved to the western slope. As we retired we decided we did not like the snow and cold weather, so we are now in a milder climate for winter and truly enjoy it. Thanks for everything you do for the stitching community! 🌷
Chantelle - you are so upbeat and forward looking! Love your videos. Just wish you would consistently click the switch that makes what we see readable and not backwards. Thanks!
Love the little seasonal charms!!! So fun! Your pillow finishes look great, Chalkboard Aida is what I am stitching the Mad For Plaid seasons on as well. I only have Spring complete so I better jump on Summer! At least I did stitch the patriotic one last year and finally finished Easter up just before the holiday!
Fun Vlog. I love the fork tool. I think it's best to remove the excess glue. 👍 Do you have to paint with the wood grain or cross hatch? Cute Pillows & displays, TY
When painting, it's important to keep in mind that brush strokes will usually be visible. If you prefer a smoother, non-brush stroke look, try to paint with the grain or in the same direction across the entire surface. However, if you don't mind seeing brush strokes, just embrace them and paint freely.
I sometimes like to glue things together without getting extra paint on the edges. That way, it doesn't mess up the fit when I'm putting it all together. Hope that helps!
Love the pillow finish. You are so inspiring! ❤ And going back to 14 count Aida is genius.
Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and your artistic talents. I always leave inspired and feeling like I can do everything you show.
I loved this VLOG. "Sew" helpful. Could you, in the future, do a VLOG on finishing the trinket box? Or the Spider web with a Classic Haunt by HOD.
Love the Vlog. Always something new to see and learn. I always look forward to the next one. Love your pillows and it’s a cute way to display them.
Thanks so much!

16:29 You can tell a true Michigander when you say "Pellow" when the rest of the world says "Pillow"! 😀😂 Greetings from Ann Arbor!

I did! They are in the shop and called "Seasonings"
I still need to make it down to A Stitching Shop. we need to have an update on the cold turkey grey!
It's a fabulous store. The grey is slow going. UGH!
@@chantelledeimling-141desig3 I hear yah
Your pillows are perfect!
Thank you
I love the pillow idea! What side kick piece would you recommend for the Happy Birthday plaid design? Or do you need to design a new one?
I love that chart too and have been thinking about whether I want to do it the same or not.
Very nice tutorial. Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching
Love the pillow idea! Are the charms available separately? I already have the on the edge display and pattern. 😊
Yes they are! They are called "Seasonings"
Hey lovely lady! 💜☮️
HI!!! Miss your face!
@@chantelledeimling-141desig3 miss yours!!
Are charms avaable seperately
Yes, they are in our shop. We call the "Seasonings"
@@chantelledeimling-141desig3 thanks I ordered them last night
It seems like it would be easier to paint pieces of edge display first then glue and touch up.
I sometimes like to glue things together without getting extra paint on the edges. That way, it doesn't mess up the fit when I'm putting it all together. Hope that helps!
For some reason the image in this video is reversed for me -- all of the writing is backward. Is it just me? Still love the video!
