Love the concept , soo it won’t haul my elk out of the woods … lol , love it for doing the perch life though , keep bringing us great episodes 👍
Nice setup!
I was literally thinking of trying to take my electric scooter out onto the beach the other day lol . Seems doable on the hard packed sand 🤙🏾
Leg and Fishing Time saver! Bad ass more time on the water
They have a Black Friday sale for the Mars 2.0 for $1099.00 with your link.
10th will be $999 🤩 I saw the article
Duuude, that's my secret weapon! I have 2 virtually identical bikes I bought for our travel trailer trips. Heybike is just using a bike from some other mfg and adding their touch. I'm just in the process of adding the fishing accessories.
Have you checked State Parks regs, yet. Some don't allow their use, some do. I was one of the trail builders that got them allowed out at Montana de Oro. I'll look into our beach access that's State Park controlled.
My bike will do about 60 miles of distance with a reasonable combo of pedal assist but it's a "long distance " version of the Lectric Bikes. Throttle only will suck the juice. Sand will definitely increase the load. You DEFINITELY don't want to pedal one of these tanks when it's dead! 😅
This was a killer video Edward. You answered all the questions I had regarding an E-Bike. My wife and kids did ask what I wanted for Christmas this year.... Hmmm....🤔
Makes it too easy! Haha Merry early Christmas Brother
Damn alright I gotta get one, just to fish around 😂
just bought one yesterday same color :D first e bike so not sure what to expect lol
how has it been since youve gotten it
@@ntomoolee9288 been great but my breaks squeak and this is my first bike think I might just need to realign them
@@ntomoolee9288 I only got 45 miles on the dash since I had Covid and was sick might also need a break in period ? Not sure lol
Edward, first let me congratulate you on obtaining a new sponsor 🎉. You addressed one concern I had, but the other is could someone carry the bike away?
It's the most awkward 70lbs you will ever attempt to carry! Mine came with a lock that is stowed in a special spot on the frame and just putting that through the rear wheel creates a lead brick. If some can carry that off the beach through soft sand, they deserve to have it. I'd be impressed! That said, even as a legit owner, it's a bit of a treat to hoist around to get in the back of a truck. I keep mine folded up in a giant Home Depot tote with wheels while traveling. Helps immensely, especially if you're solo.
Damn! now i gotta get one
“Lazy” lol
It’s funny because it’s true! 🤣
Just scored mine for $975 to my door! My question is are you aired down? And if so what psi?
No I did not air down. Stock psi. Good deal!
When add front basket / will the bike still foldable?
yes

What is your favorite tide for perch fishing?
Incoming coinciding with morning. Peak high tide 10am with no wind mmmmhmmm
Thanks for getting back to me. I live in Goleta was wondering if the area in the video is the Guadalupe dunes? No wonder you like morning fishing, I would guess it gets pretty windy on that beach almost every afternoon.
Stay away from heybike customer service sucks and they don't honor the warranty
Oh damn, another new fishing toy to beg Mrs. Santa for Christmas! Hello Jesse! (props to pops) I am wondering how this bike is going to hold up to the salty sand! How does it go in the super soft sand? and my last question, does one NEED to have a smart phone to use the bike? Lastly, Edward, that is a professional sales pitch! You are hitting all the right keys my friend!
Just a follow up to keep ya'll from getting cited. I made a call to State Parks Ranger Team for the Coastal Dunes District. I'm waiting for a call back from a Ranger Supervisor for the specific code but the Oso Flaco area, including the beach is off limits to eBikes. Can't bring it through the park from the lot/boardwalk, nor can we continue south from the OHV fence down the beach to the south. 😢 I've asked for the specific regulation wording and hope to hear back soon.
I build MTB/Hike/Equestrian trails out at MdO for a local group and also sat on the State Parks Trails Commitee for MdO. State Parks has a blanket ban on eBikes across the entire state but because of our work, has agreed to let individual districts make decisions based on local situations. That why MdO is the only park allowing eMTB's, but Class 1 Pedal Assist ONLY (think Mountain Bike). These cruiser bikes with throttles are Class 3 with stand alone throttles which are NOT allowed at MdO. Apparently, Coastal District has not yet considered eBike allowances so we're technically screwed for anything south of Pole 6 fence line.
I'll post more info when I get it. Post up if anyone has more info!
