Assalam o alaikum dear. I always use to watch your videos but disappointed this time. You didn't justify the final lines of this poem. Use of word "beast" is wrongly interpreted.

I do agree with your declaration.
      I think..
In these lines from "The Second Coming," Yeats employs rich symbolism and metaphor to convey a profound sense of upheaval and foreboding.
The phrase "twenty centuries of stony sleep" suggests a long period of dormancy or inactivity, perhaps representing the span of time since the birth of Christ or the establishment of Christianity. The word "stony" evokes a sense of hardness and rigidity, implying a lack of vitality or growth.
The image of being "vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle" is particularly striking. It suggests that this long period of dormancy has been disturbed or disrupted, transforming what should have been a peaceful slumber into a terrifying nightmare. The juxtaposition of the gentle image of a cradle rocking with the nightmarish connotations creates a sense of unease and tension.
Finally, the line "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last," introduces the central metaphor of the poem: the "rough beast." This beast is a symbol of chaos, destruction, and primal forces unleashed upon the world. Its emergence, after centuries of dormancy, signals a profound and terrifying shift in the course of human history.
Overall, these lines convey a sense of apocalyptic dread, as Yeats grapples with the idea of civilization teetering on the brink of collapse and being confronted by primal forces beyond its control.
