Sorry for your understanding as it's too narrow, actually because she herself did those degrees thus she understood that what actually iit and Wharton does to a student and she meant that if possible without these degrees you are able to get those insights then only u can become a successful person again that also depends according to your criteria or definition of success. And if she is promoting her education institute where it is possible to learn something different then what's the problem here ... I still feel that the whole podcast was more about the perspective and approach towards life and as she stated how to learn and unlearn .. so try to learn from her insights and unlearn that a degree is super important

What are the skills we need to work in big companies

    • @youtubelibrary_10
      @youtubelibrary_10 6 месяцев назад

@@manspatel555 What they tell you and the public is that you need to be experts at various programming languages and software - but what they WILL NOT tell you is that - they will hire only their friends who will accept low salaries and they will hire only the people who will kiss the boss's ass and maintain the dirty office politics. There is bonus that each worker/manager gets if they hire their friends, so they will take resumes/cvs but they will ONLY interview the people they have already chosen. Even if you are the best programmer who know how to write the best software code - they will NOT hire you because your talent will challenge the other mediocre people who work under stress of getting fired. So, the MAIN skill you need to get hired in big companies is to say you will do whatever they tell you to do. EVERYTHING else is just marketing crap that makes it look like they are best corps to work etc.

The irony is even though they say degree is not important, the guest's introduction started with degree from Wharton, IIT etc
That shows the validation and that's what recruiters/investors look for.
Validation may come from degree, portfolio, showcasing skills etc
    But degree is also important

Thats true. IIT as a brand name, ppl will immediately get the idea that the student is good. But how many IITs are actually there n how many engg students r actually in the country? The ratio is so small. So even tho the brand name IIT is one validation, its not the only thing recruiters look for to filter students. Wts the point of being from IIT if u cant communicate well n arent smart in this rapidly changing industry?

What crap is this? This host is happily hiding the fact that bjp government is partnering with corporations and ensuring India remains in high poverty whilst multi-national companies are making 6 digit crore profits from the Indian market. This host doesn't ask why foreign companies are profiting from the Indian market while our Indian graduates are deprived of full-time employment with high salaries, benefits and pension plans. Dhruv RAthee is the only young man who is asking questions on behalf of the common working class people. This is just whitewashed BS justifying modern s|avery by oligarchs.

Passion or interest is something that solves the goal oriented problems in a person’s life.
But the question is - how to find out that passion or interest of a person?
How can a person identify his/her passion or interest in life?
What can be ways or exercise to find that ?
    Hello, Ranveer sir.
I would like to request you to do a podcast on this topic.
I think this topic is a major concern for most of today’s youth.

📝 According to my understanding, the conclusion of this podcast is:
👉In life, each action we take is like a branch on a tree, and the tree is represents our life as a whole. Just as a tree has various parts, they can mirror different aspects of our lives:
-Roots: Represent our foundational values and beliefs that ground us.
-Trunk: Symbolizes our inner core, resilience, and strength.
-Branches: Reflect the diverse paths, choices, and experiences we encounter.
-Leaves: Represent the results, accomplishments, and memories we accumulate.
⚠️ This understanding is generated after doing the brainstorming with artificial intelligence.

what is the use of asking all these questions when government policies do not help the working class? corporate tax rate was reduced while income tax on workers was increased. graduates are being asked to sell pakodas and are not given full time employement with high salaries and pensions. Why are foreign corporations profiting from the Indian market while using INdian labour and our Indian workers are left in poverty? Isn't it the job of the government to create policies that will bring prosperity to the working class? Dhruv Rathee is a young man who has the balls to ask these questions of corrupt politicians. This host is is a crony of the current govt.

    Hello Ranveer,
We really enjoy the podcast content you produce. It's important to address the challenges faced by engineers graduating from lower-tier colleges who struggle to secure decent-paying jobs and often feel demoralized. Many discussions focus on top-tier institutions like IITs and IIMs, but the reality is that the majority of Indians study in average or below-average colleges. It's crucial to explore how individuals from these backgrounds can acquire the necessary skills and education to succeed in the job market. Let's delve into this topic and identify potential pathways and solutions in a podcast episode.

The one thing she didn’t said is not only skills matter during your undergraduate year in a top 5 IIT but CGPA matters too in getting a top package during an on campus placement. I’m an undergraduate from IIT too so I know😅 Maybe she didn’t wanted to discourage so that everyone learns that learning and unlearning the relevant skills matters the most in growing through your career. So not only skills matter but academics matter too. A good CGPA matters too. And the thing she said that bachelors don’t matter, I guess it’s a bit wrong though she is most senior to me but I guess she is wrong in this matter. And yes far and foremost of all the things Department matters

Given this subject, I feel the most practical answer to this question : Good soft skills>Good networking>some funding ( have, don't Have, beg, borrow, loan) > reinvesting. Government needs to streamline entrepreneurship more than today and ease it even further.
Now coming to the person who has no funds to play around with (70% public), the govt needs to put a cap on the fees any univ can implement. This will breakdown the craze for iiT.
There is a serious issue on this entire process. The actual field work doesn't demand such a skill that a child should sit all hours of the day only to prepare for it. What happens to living and work life balance?

As you asked , to suggest what kind of episodes we want to see, me and many of my friends who are moms of teenagers are discussing about how to set our kids into a journey where they need to come out of all these distractions, impact of social media, alcohol, wrong company and be disciplined , show dedication , do hard work ..its not easy to get them to do anything,,we need Specialists who can mentor us to groom teenagers of todays generation, the Zen zs and Alphas need different parenting style which are unaware of..Can you bring clinical psychologist for parenting guidance .

@RanveerAllahbadia We want a similar podcast for commerce and or Arts students also, passing from very average schools and colleges. Not everyone can go to IIT, IIM or for Engineering after 12. Need to address the ones who are not financially stable. What should the schools and colleges do to bring out the best from the students to know who are better at what etc.?
    You know what I mean.

Extremely insightful podcast, learnt a lot as a 12th grader. I am from biology stream, struggling to find undergrad courses with good market value other than medical which is already overcrowded and overhyped. I would be grateful if the beerbiceps team could bring some podcast regarding pcb stream.

    • @supratiksarkar1195

Only option in pcb is do a PhD plus postdoc and enter the industry. Because bsc MSc are dead degrees. At least the way they are taught.

Boss. Medical is not over hyped. Its the truth. You will know when you actually hve a degree Nd how insignificant it is compared to any medical degree. Despite bring an engineer n in IT, i still wish zi had chosen medicine. They earn the highest which has no comparison with salaries of any other stream and also hve the highest respect anywhere in the world. Only ppl who cant get the degree call it over hyped! U know "the grapes that i dont get are sour!"

    • @trishadebbarma9097
      @trishadebbarma9097 2 месяца назад

@@TruMyous Coming from a family of medicos, it is extremely overhyped. Not everyone has the determination or will to spend half of their lives studying and earning degree after degree to reach that high of a salary. And not everyone is privileged enough to be able to afford to set up private practices. Again, for a private practice to attract customers/patients, a minimum qualification of pg is a must. Govt declares scarcity of doctors in the country yet doesn't hire well, doesn't provide enough opportunities to people that want to move into this field, the irony

We could expect some more answers here : -
Can a high paying job as a Consultant/Management professional guarantee a work-life balance with that shiny salary package ?
What is the in-hand salary for that big fat number ?
Do these big fortune companies focus on employee well-being ?
What it gets to be hired as an Associate Consultant after doing an Engineering degree ?
What it takes to move from Associate Consultant to a Consultant and challenges one can face moving up the ladder ?
What if you don't get supporting mentors in any stage of life if you are not from a top college or university but posses relevant skillset required to have the thirst and quest to learn with right attitude ?
What is the roadmap for those who are not financially privileged enough to get into these roles ?
If this podcast focusses more on how Master's Union is developing to groom quality talent for redefining the top educational learning, shouldn't it be more accessible for students who have this talent but financially unstable to move ahead ?
