5:30 Not sure when you recorded this but the last one we had was actually one of the strongest in years. It literally ravaged my neighborhood in XinYi. We lost a LOT of really big old trees.
hello Again Linda and Jon! delicious beef brisket noodles with garlic chillie spring onions and my favorite pickled mustard greens... and after that hearty noodle meal dessert of deep fried sweet potatoes , shaved ice and sweet fruits and cold milk tea... Enjoy Taiwan. I was just in Taipei after the typhoon at the end of november. Travelled from canada as well. Visit some of the museums. They are inexpensive or free to enter. National 228 museum, national taiwan museum, etc.
@BingoandBinew taiwan is such an underrated place in the world. The Taiwanese are very friendly and love to share their cuisine and culture to everyone. Also, Revolver in Ximen is a pretty cool bar where a lot of ex pats go as well
I love your videos! I recommend you to go to Hualien and Taitung These two places are different from cities such as Taipei and Kaohsiung There are more natural ecology and spectacular scenery there~ The night market there also has more aboriginal delicacies that cannot be eaten elsewhere.

Afternoon tea at Grand Hotel, Tamsui is popular on weekends and the hot springs in Xin Beitou ( try the hot spring boiled eggs )

@ We agree! It’s our second time there and we definitely plan on going back! We found Taiwanese people to be the most genuinely helpful, too. 😊
Umbrellas are useless during typhoon days. Consider picking up a disposable raincoat next time.
