Yes Geoff has a narrator in his soul. However, it is only fair to point out that the greatest narrator in America today is also a bass singer. If you get the time, check out Mike Rowe (of Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs) singing "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch'". it left me questioning the expiration date on my man card.

Thank you for your reaction. First time I heard this song, the bridge caught me by surprise, and really made my day. I like Geoff very much, but I am actually not so much of a base fan in general. The person with the most pleasant singing voice for me is Donnie Munro, former singer or the Scottish folk rock band Runrig (who is a tenor). If he’d sing the phone book to me a whole day long, I‘d be a happy person. And if he’d do it in Gaelic - even better. 😅 Even though I would not understand a single word in this case.
