Catz1a - agreed - the sound engineering was ideal - so we got to hear her full tone - she has amazing control & stability & fluidity - pleasant timbre - when i heard this performance - i immediately ranked her as one of the best singers in Kpop

However, I have listened to many of her clips as well as other female vocalists (I love main vocals and girl groups lol) and I would put her around the middle overall. Not because she isn't good but more because the singers are all so spectacular, everytime I think one is the best another one comes in blazing. I think as Yuri goes more consistent she will rise in her ability very quickly though

I would say about half of those people are top notch to me. Main vocals like Somin, Suyeon, Jihyo, Chuu, Ahin, Lia, etc etc being around the same level from what I can think of at the moment. Sometimes worse but also sometimes better. Of course, this is all very approximate and will change performance to performance and I'd consider every one of these girls as well above average singers. However, within them alone, Yuri is middle-low. But within the industry, she is rather high. I understand why people consider her a bright light of a vocal for the upcoming generation for sure
