Hey Phil,
It’s my main workhorse for over 27yrs. It’s a Yamaha BBN5A. It’s basically like the Nathan East signature model at the time(WITHOUT the signature). It has the same signature series preamp, IMO, the most musical preamp I’ve ever used. The only difference is that the signature model had an ebony fingerboard vs the rosewood on mine and the signature had a little higher figured top but otherwise they’re the same bass. Hope that wasn’t too much info😊
