Utkarsh Pandey The lady was actually an anglicized colonized bitch who thought she could outsmart him but fortunately she got what she deserved in a subtle way by Rajivji.

Amazing discussion! As an Indian living in US I can totally relate to everything that Rajiv Malhotra says. I urge all Indians to listen to this discussion and many others on this channel
We have to look at the content People can talk non-stop nonsense but it does not mean that they are difficult to argue with. Our school/college education system (based on western education model) teaches just one dimensional and limited "cognitive" intelligence. But Rajiv Malhtora and people who seek the truth have multiple intelligence. - Social, moral, spiritual, emotional and cognitive intelligence. No matter what you throw at them, they could neutralize it easily
I would like to see it as a Father and Daughter discussion. Because he was harsh and gentle, when needed, like a father. and she was putting her point, discussing (agree to disagree) with respect and understanding like a daughter. A happy yet little heated, elder and younger discussion or knowledge transfer.
Handled? Crushed her. She was just trying to trap him in technicalities, like most law students do. I being a law student know how this works. However, since she already has her mind fixated on what she thought was right and her facts been incorrect, demolishing her argument was a cake for Rajiv ji who is the master in his subjects.
In one word “Pagan” this law student called me a ‘village bumpkin’. My ancestors endured over 600 yrs of Islamic rule which wanted to convert them to Islam and 200 yrs of British rule which wanted to convert them to Christianity and still continued to be “Pagans” and continued followed their own culture and religion and gave it to me as my heritage. You think this confused law student calling me “Pagan” will shame me or make me desist ne from accepting my ancestors? A law student....not even good at what she is studying as her arguments show and wading into the field of religion and culture without master her own field of choice is nothing more than childish behaviour.
Atleast she is not like those rabid leftwingers who only come to disrupt by being loud and making inflammatory statements rather than genuinely engaging in conversation with RM. She seems to be open-minded and is willing to listen to his side.
No sir!! She seems actually a clever tactician who immediately retreats from the battlefield after finding oneself in a losing position. This could be observed by her attitude in her opening remarks. When a small animal realises his tail pressed under an elephant's foot🙄 then he thinks it's better to take it off silently 🤫🤫
She isn't the face of Indian youth. Such institutions have a concentration of these librandus. But they are often fed words and worldview by their friends, families, or fake/misinforming internet influencers like dhruv rathee.
The lady wanted to outsmart him at first by asking certain twisted questions. He blocked her at the source itself by the sheer grace of logic. Finally, she conceded and became a follower by agreeing to read his books and tried to project herself as little more Indian. With a superficial knowledge, you cannot have a debate with a person who has dedicated his life towards a subject
Amazing insights from Shri Rajiv and brilliant engagement with the woman who has the colonized mindset typical of English medium educated youngsters who have lost touch with real india

Anyway the elaborate response presented by Rajivji was outstanding.

This lady is a great example of someone who is easily on the right path -- you can see her willingness to listen to Rajiv Malhotra in later part of this exchange; please don't misjudge her because of the first part of this video clip.
She finally says Nature is not being respected in Sanskrit and Shastras and that was her concern during the whole debate, then why did she bring Manusmriti into the discussion?
the root cause of all problems in the world is the language they speak. the mother tongue language defines your way of behaviour, it defines the way your brain works. just compare all the major langguages spoken all around the world. each language speaking population has a particular mind set. ancient indian sages has developed a particular language which by practising since childhood will give a beautiful outgoing mind set, with minimal interpersonal conflicts. Suppose malayalam speaking population are liberal, respectable population with very minimal conflicts. Tamil speaking population are very extreme ,whether it is love or aggression. chinese speaking population are very dedicated discplined population. german , russian, english, spanish, italian. etc are all having their own traits. As the girl in this video said, sanskrit is perfect for computer coding. no other language has these features. Hence we have to agree that, we are very lucky to be born in india with such a great linguistic culture. Language is the backbone to any culture. and unfortunately our sy.phi.list.ic first PEE.YEM became a toy of those foreign religions and disgraced india by allowing their language to become official language of india.
Hearing to Rajiv sir speeches, couldn't believe how this colonization of our mother land for centuries have not only changed our lifestyle.. but it has changed our very thought process....
When we read lot of text book and dont use our brain we start behaving like this girl. Who feels themselves as not own but some version 2.3.1.0 updated
Very sad to see an otherwise intelligent young Indian make such a huge blunder by saying "the Northeast has no links to sanskrit". Obviously her education did not talk about the deep cultural links between the Northeast and ancient India. King Bhagatdatta of Pragjyotishpur (today's Guwahati, Assam) was a participant in the Mahabharat War and the kingdom predates the Ahom kingdom. Ulupi was one of Arjuna's wives and a Naga princess. One of Krishna's wives was Rukmini from what is now Arunachal Pradesh where the ruins of Rukminigaon are still visible.
😆😆😆😆... Well done Rajiv Ji.... This is one of the major Problem with these law types of India...just by having a degree Most of these idiots think they can debate anyone....Its kind of superiority Complex.. By 17.0 minutes she had almost become a convert to Rajiv Malhotra school! He effectively broke through her barriers and defence. She is an outstanding example of how people mouth words and ideas based on school learning. Excellent method of debating.
She was trying to show her knowledge! When you don't have anything else..this is how they go! Get the knowledge of the system which is prevalent and through that bottleneck try to control. First VIOLENCE,PHYSICALNFORCE IS bad..and then create a system of LAWAS,RULES and the cram them and show off that knowledge to dominate. This woman is one of such mentalities!
Read Sanskrit Literature properly then all her answers will be clarified and problem of modern social sciences in discarding the 'culture' of Sanskrit as it's not just a language , it's more than it- from Grammar to Literature -our cultural values are indebted to Sanskrit . Sanskrit is Sanskriti !

The naysayers will have a lot of negativity and abuses hurled towards you but you can rest assured that we are all with you.

The British have made indians to feel so insecure with a low self esteem. Today our young are clueless. They ape everything west. They even want to speak like the whiteman. People like Rajiv Malhotra are like shining knights in armour who are trying to get indians back on track towards the greatness it once was.
I may not agree with Malhotra Ji on everything that he has been saying in all his speeches and debates but he surely is extremely well read, great great orator, amazingly confident and consistent. Really inspiring.
You are confident and consistent when you are honest and your conscience is clear, and when you have not invested your time, money and energy in agenda-mongering but something real and truthful.
I do not appreciate people interrupting in the dialogue happening, just because the girl is standing her ground. I admire the girl's guts. From her point of view, she is asking relevant questions.
Also as indians, one disadvantage I see is that we are too sycophantic...we don't like challenging authority, and discourage everyone else from doing it. Really, clapping on each point of Mr. Malhotra, to pit both the girl and Rajiv ji as opponents is ridiculous... Let us have compassion for those who don't have complete knowledge, and let us never judge someone on what they believe...beliefs and knowledge can change...the more we judge, the more people refuse to see your point..
Yes yes, we can all see who took whom to task here and who ended up embarrassed and mumbling inanities to end the exchange in some sort of face-saving chatter of agreement and reconciliation. LOL
We don’t amend. We understand the scriptures in the right context. If you don’t understand, then ask those who are more experienced and you can still find the deeper understanding of the Vedic scriptures which are very deep.
Rajiv is doing a great job rekindling ancient India's pride and sense of identity amongst the modern Indian youth. He has to also start criticizing and join the movement against untouchability and caste system in India too if he wants full acceptance from wider public. So far he seems uninterested as it doesn't concern him immediately or affects him in any way. Or maybe it just might offend his main supporters - the brahmins and pundits associated with Sanskrit and ancient texts and he may lose his credibility. Big dilemma. This young girl is amazingly bright and focused on her points. A great discussion.
trhl he has never supported any of these things. Now if you want him to talk like a politician to appeal to the masses, that's not going to happen. His field of work in not limited to the "caste, cow and curry" stereotype of Hinduism. It's not a mark of greatness to just parrot some hot politically correct terms unnecessarily to do virtue signaling like leftists do. It's actually a mark of mediocrity. Him doesn't calling caste as evil every paragraph doesn't mean he supports it. As far as repeating some PC phrases to the satisfaction of everybody, that isn't possible. Also your assumptions give away your narrow mindedness. "Brahmin" supporters. LOL If you really know about RM, he tells in many videos about how Brahmins are lazy, they haven't done purva paksha, they haven't developed the swadeshi indology, they excuse themselves from responding to the likes of pollock and then criticize RM when he writes books that do so. He has faced attacks from both west academia and some TRADITIONAL "BRAHMINS" too. It's not that all the Hindus are gaga over him. He blames Indian conquest by invaders on the Brahmins not doing their scholarly duty (purva paksha). So there goes your narrow minded assumption.
Arjun Saini When Rajiv tries to put Sanskrit and Indology on a high pedestal he will have to face the negative aspects and criticisms as well. As he says the west like USA loves talking great about itself (exceptionalism) and believes they are the best, but they also encounter difficult questions like slavery, massacre of native American Indians, racism etc. Every coin has two sides. You have to be honest about it and not shuffle it under the rug. So I think it is your narrow mindedness rather for not accepting the reality which is a problem. True knowledge is only gained by understanding the facts not ignoring them because it makes you uncomfortable to talk about it. Untouchability and caste system is a bitter truth of the Indian society that unfortunately still exists rampantly everywhere. And yes Rajiv does rely strongly on the blessings and approval of the big name Swamis and Pandits who are the major players in the world of Sanskrit and Hinduism. It gives him credibility to be seen sitting side by side with these figures. The slight criticisms he makes regarding purv pakshas as you mention is nothing very offensive to throw him out of favour but criticising the caste system and untouchability will definitely raise the ire of many,.
which was the book on his table? I found that the girl is very receptive. Good. i feel her parents groomer her well, but some college colleagues or teachers must have misled her. But her DNA is good so she understands. Rajiv sir as usual clear
Sanskrit is a perfect language for human brain and computers. This is coming from a neurologist practicing in Dallas. I started teaching sanskrit to my son. I bet he will become better citizen. Many europeans are pouring money to learn sanskrit. Indians will ultimately lose to us americans as we are learning power of sanskrit. In fact our ISD now has sanskrit as second language in Frisco, Texas. Don't be a parrot and slave of some pseudointellectuals. Use your brain and apply logic.
This child knows all the western version & propoganda, she quoted bible, human rights, tree rights, environmental concerns but not one single example of Indian Idealogy. The only example of Hindu scriptures was false negative Manu Smiriti. May God preserve our youngsters & culture.
Great....drama mean original quality of sth...like sun's property is to give light nh warmth to earth...it does not do any difference to black or white, christian or hindu....the same with water, air, ether etc so we give respect any pay to these five element of creation..human r created by these 5 element...
The OM . Firstly Manusmirti is not considered an authoritative scripture by mainstream hinduism . We dont even know which are the original verses. There could have been add ons by people with vested interests. Out of the 2700+ verses we have today, about 1500 are not considered genuine. About women verses 3.55 - 3.56 declares women must be adorned and adored. Where women are revered, there the gods rejoice, but where they are not, no sacred rites bear fruit. I dont think there were anything subjugeting or demeaning women as such. But then again its anyone's guess on which are genuine.
Any scripture by itself has little value, and should not be taken seriously, if it is not approved by spiritual authorities, acaryas or spiritual masters. The first consideration should be who has approved "Manu Smriti" as an authentic scripture? If there is anyone who considers "Manu Smriti" genuine than they must also show an example of following "Manu Smriti" in practical life. Then you may judge if they teach inequality and violence towards women. Do you know any society that follows "Manu Smriti" today?
The lady was ready to listen, which is good.

We don’t amend. We understand the scriptures in the right context. If you don’t understand, then ask those who are more experienced and you can still find the deeper understanding of the Vedic scriptures which are very deep.
Rajiv ji... is the full Q&A session available online?
LOL
If you really know about RM, he tells in many videos about how Brahmins are lazy, they haven't done purva paksha, they haven't developed the swadeshi indology, they excuse themselves from responding to the likes of pollock and then criticize RM when he writes books that do so.
Most of the people have not gone to vedic schools.i pity on this lady. Sanskrit is accepted as universal language .
Just great argument
which was the book on his table?
Use your brain and apply logic.
where can you learn sanskrit?
You are great sir
This child knows all the western version & propoganda, she quoted bible, human rights, tree rights, environmental concerns but not one single example of Indian Idealogy. The only example of Hindu scriptures was false negative Manu Smiriti. May God preserve our youngsters & culture.
wonderful
She may be right to point to Manu Smrti, but was unable to reflect at the origin of her own indoctrination. Typical of Western hypocrisy.
People in comments stopping scorning the girl . Patience is required
Great....drama mean original quality of sth...like sun's property is to give light nh warmth to earth...it does not do any difference to black or white, christian or hindu....the same with water, air, ether etc so we give respect any pay to these five element of creation..human r created by these 5 element...
'pagan culture'? omg...the state of educated young people in India is pathetic. How can we ever equate our Devis to pagan culture.
To all leftists, it is right of everybody to preserve our culture, our religion, our way of life and our historic past
really osm lady and good reply sir
Change your vocabulary lady, how can she call any one pagan and not know the meaning of the word.
All ladies, Read ritu vidya by sinu joseph. Or watch her talk.
If this is so ask sinu Joseph to revert to Hinduism..
better than JNU, trying to understand and learning
The girl seems to be a show off
rajeev malhotra was unfair to this girl this debate is like " mike Tyson having boxing match with shakti kapoor"
aman gill she countered him too
I just want to know. Is it true that 'Manu Smriti' teaches inequality and violence towards women?
Do you know any society that follows "Manu Smriti" today?
wow..
Thanks sir , really nice videos!!
