After much anticipation my Cane Creek Suspension has finally arrived... now if I only had my bike to put this sweet Cane Creek Helm MKII and Kitsuma Air Shock on and give it a good testing...

I run this pairing on my Yeti SB130 and totally in love with it! For those in the flatter lands the Helm can feel a bit harsh even in its softer settings but from Old Fort westward its fantastic!
Hmm interesting take on the fork… I will have to let ya know if I find that to be the case as well once I get it on the bike
the fork is good and maintains support and good begining stroke without being harsh, The damper and airspring are phenominal with great attention to detail and capability. but he chassis is not meant for harder riding. I knew a guy who deseated his bushings after one day at snowshoe, I blew up 2 dampers, and bushings in only 100 hours on a mk1. I have 30 hours on my mk2 and The bushings already have significant wobble. It's not meant to be run at 170mm (27.5)
Under hard braking and doing endos I can feel the whole thing flex.
It can't take abuse like a 38 or a ZEB even if it is within the riding that it should be capable of.

I am actually thinking of coordinating with Kolo and doing a whole series on the park! Glad someone might find that entertaining 😁

Man that sucks about your bike, I remember you telling us at Snowshoe how excited you were to get that bike, and the reason why you had to get it in the first place.
Yeah it was a bummer for sure! I just hope I can get back to riding soon but at least it’s snowboard season in the meantime !
Did insurance cover your bike?
