I lost my grandmother and her brother in July and august of 2022, I wasn’t able to shed a tear. they were the only people i truly believed were interested in my life. I was on my way to work one day at the end of December 2023 as this song came on, I instantly gave in to the pain. I cried the hardest I’ve ever cried in my life and I could not have been happier. I needed that more than anyone could know and I truly know nobody else could have made that happen but Sam Barber. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart Sam for sharing your gift with everyone.
I hope you get through it, just look for god my friend and he will guide you and all you have to do is trust and believe and it will be all ok.

My sister passed away 2 months ago unexpectedly and it has crushed me and my family. I found your version of this song randomly about 3 weeks after she passed and it instantly touched me as if my sister was showing me this song to let me know that she is ok. My sister passed very unexpectedly in March. The grief is overwhelming, a part of who I am from here on. I had the same feeling, that it was a sign from her.
This song is by far my favourite. In 2017 my mother sadly passed away, i broke down in tears when i got that call. I was around 8 years and this song brought me to tears when i heard this. Makes me think about my mother, and till this day i haven't stopped mourning over her.
