I have a newer version of the QTron+ - it definitely sounds remarkably different than your vintage version, but to be fair i'm not entirely sure how other vintage QTron's sound - it does not have the hallmark "quack" that I tend to think of when I think of envelope filters. Of course you can get a wide array of sounds out of them, so perhaps my settings are just vastly different too. I try to get a tone similar to Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead, so definitely a bit of a unique tone i'm chasing - keep it up! 👍
@blueholygrass Yeah, I definitely wanna get one of the newer ones. This vintage Qtron is very unique. But definitely not something that I would consider putting on my paddleboard. It’s fun to play around with them. Like I said in the video, I don’t really know what it’s supposed to sound like. But I had a technician fix it for me. I’m waiting to get back the electric mistress. He’s still working on that doing some research. On how to properly fix it. So when I get that, I will be so excited. Thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate you. And hope you have a good weekend.
@@ashleymorton9623it’s pretty easy to dial in the Jerry “quack” sound with a qtron - I have the qtron+ which has a little more configuration options than the smaller version but both should get you quacking
🤘💎🙏 what do you mean does it count? Of course, if they’re not making it anymore it is considered vintage. So now it’s 34 years old. This makes us old timers in the guitar world.

I’m trying to get this tone too. You saying it’s difficult to get with the mini version? Been looking at the flamma fl11

This pedal is from the 90s. Does that count as vintage now? What does that make me? 😱
