Chinese are focusing in two areas, Road and IT! Chinese are cooking their business by creating Access to raw materials and to resale back commodities.
The IT is a tool for marketing their commodities. Besides their intention, we have the opportunity to benefit from it by focusing on and filling the gap of industrialization by our own fund.

It is odd to hear people talking about 5G and general fooling around with computers, in a scenario where half the population doesn't have electricity or roads! Actually I just got those numbers here today. Digital digital digital... I'm thinking if you NEVER got anything digital to speak of, but DID get in roads, electricity and safe water, some schools you can now get to ON the new roads and so on... this might be pretty good for one generation!!! Even in China, you sometimes see videos (I'm usually looking at stuff about cooking and food) where people are cooking on a wood stove, or even on an open fire! Now, cooking on an open fire is really OUT, I thought! There are organizations devoted just to getting rid of this symbol and cause of poverty and poor health, I own a few wood-burning stoves FROM CHINA, but even all the Chinese don't have them. So, I'm saying that the development path they're exporting to Africa is a path that even the Chinese are treading right now, it's not a finished thing. This seems good and right! It might be that Chinese workers in the African hinterland might say "I was raised just like this, no roads or electricity, a fire and three rocks to cook on... then we built some INFRASTRUCTURE, and you can, too".

Infrastructure is needed for any business to flourish, for Africans to rely more on themselves. Interconnection is paramount. Without private business, African will not go anywhere. Roads will facilitate this.

What a stupid idea. 30.000 barrels of crude oil money will be kept in China ? Who are these people who are leading us ? My idea is put the money by the african development bank. Create a soedanese/pan african civil and engineering consortium. All materials will be sourced on the african continent and you hire expertise from china and europe. This is win/win

China has helped Africa in a short period MORE than the West EVER did in centuries or desires.
If that does not enlighten you, nothing WILL.
China needs Africa as a market as much as Africa needs China. The USA is afraid of China and will do anything to abort China progress and the rest of the West will DO anything the USA wants, Why do you think the USA surrounds China with military bases?

@@antoniopantophlet8216 I only reiterated the importance of this ambitious enterprise.
Whether Africans leaders would stand guard for African interest or not, I am in doubt all of them will, because it is not a China´s prerogative. This is a business enterprise, not charity. It was not a swipe at you, I do not know What is/should be the best proposal.
It is sure something VERY important for Africa´s development.
