Fix-a-Dent Ultra Max Hold Denture Adhesive is AH-mazing! I'm waiting for e-day, to have my 5 remaining uppers extracted, and then beautiful, white dentures! I've filled, and patched, and had too many root canals to count. I had bad genes when it came to my teeth, and horrible experiences with dentists in the '60's. I am such a nervous patient even all these years later, but the result will be beautiful once it's done!!
I’m on day 2 after having all my remaining teeth pulled and immediate dentures. After 18 months of hell, I took this step to stop the pain. Your videos have really helped me feel like this was a good decision and you look so happy and confident with your new smile. Thank you so much for sharing.
I'm one-week post-op now and your videos have been such a tremendous help. Your problems have been mine and your extra tips have been such a benefit. I know the healing process takes time but I have NO regrets making this choice. Thank you so much!
I'm on day 3 after complete extractions and immediate dentures. I'm 35 as well and had alot of the same problems as you. It's reassuring to hear alot of the same problems and worries I'm having over my new dentures aren't just me. I agree completely though this was well worth it and I put this off too long. I feel way better already and the worst part of this whole process so far was the fear and anxiety I had pre extractions. Thanks for the videos brother
So happy to hear this. I’m 47 and about to have 24 teeth pulled in 3 days and get Immediate Dentures. The anxiety of having my teeth pulled is killing me.
Thank you for sharing, Brookes! Glad to see you are doing so well. I'm 65 & just had my teeth pulled & got immediate dentures today. Not a happy camper :( It was a pretty painful experience, as, I had 3 abscesses which would not freeze, so it was pretty traumatic! The bite is off center on the top denture & the lowers are lopsided, plus a couple other issues, which will hopefully get resolved on Friday. All the best, to you . . . :)
Of all the videos I've looked at, your dentures look the most natural. It's day 3 for me. Had my tooth pulled on Wednesday and my dentures were fitted immediately. Can't eat, feel nauseous the whole time and the dentures feel too big. Too much plastic. I pray it will get better because my self-confidence is nonexistent.
Your looking much more healthy then you did post E day! I'm glad to hear your doing good. I have 2 more weeks till my dentures are ready then schedule E day! Keep up the good work brother!
I'm so glad I found your video! I am having this same surgery two weeks from today. I will have both upper and lower full dentures. You have reassured me that it's going to be okay :) You're doing great~ You look great and sound great too!
Thanks Homie! I’m 33 I’m getting same day dentures in a couple weeks, I watched your 3 day post op video as well! And I’m Subscribed! Really appreciate you making these videos. As I’m terrified for what will happen! I’m getting the full tip first, and next year I’ll get the bottom, because my insurance will only cover one set at a time, thank you thank you thank you, much appreciation!!!
I know this is an older video, but it has been very helpful. I will be doing this procedure next week. Btw, I love your coffee cup. Praise Jesus! 🙏❤️✝️🥰👍
Your videos have been such an incredible help. My Eday was yesterday, my biggest worry is that I have to take out my denture soon, and the fear of the pain afterwards has me very worried. Thank you for the helpful tip with the ibuprofen I will definitely be trying that when it comes time to take mine out.
Thank you for your video. will follow your advice 100%. been a mom, wife, sister etc my whole life. My 2023 resolution is for me!! Waiting to hear from my superb dentist. cost, timing etc. I want my teeth out. Came into my adulthood with neglected teeth and been patching them up fir 50 years. thank you again. time to get it done!!!!!!!
going April 20th been in constant pain so i know this will be worth it .as i to am tired and just feel worn out , glad you made this video as it helps me when hearing from others
I think that you did the right thing. Having suffered myself for many years with pain and infections, I totally am so ready to get this done. I also believe you are better off NOT getting implants. I know they are supposed to save bone structure and such but they ALSO get infected. Um, no thank you. If I go through all of this, I am doing so that I will never get another infection in my teeth/gums ever again.
Glad all is well. Thursday is my 7day mark. I only got uppers but I'm going on 27 years old teeth where always hurting getting infected my blood pressure was running high. I feel good already my blood pressure is perfect I'm not tired or in pain.
@@Rusticshot84 lmao yeah I ain't did so good at the taking it easy part walked yesterday like a mile or so at the park. Today was working on the truck witch I'm filling now but I finally ate more soft foods and less liquid today
I appreciate all your videos. I am 47 and I get all my teeth removed in 3 days. I got immediates .I'm doing the sedation also. Your videos are helping with the anxiety. Thank You.
I have major bone loss as well. My consultation is aug 1st. And will then be scheduling for 28 teeth to be removed as well. I have had a few anxiety attacks already thinking about it all. Your videos are helping a lot. Thank you.

You are a brave young man and i think it is great you are helping so many people 😘
I was told 6 years ago that I need dentures. The embarrassment and anxiety have me so scared to go ahead with the process. You are right it is much better than the pain I currently deal with. I will be scheduling the big extraction thanks to you. Have blessed day

Thank you SO very much for your positive vibes! Extractions of 24 teeth May 8th. I literally can’t wait to get myself well and feel and be healthy. I’m looking at my decision also as the best option. ❤
I just had mine done last week. Ik this video of urs is almost a yr old.. i had mine Dec 10th 2020. Exactly a week for me. I had 22 teeth removed. 7 pulled and 15 surgerically removed due to broken at the gum line. I also had a void in my sinus closed that was there due to SO many infections my body left an area for it to fill? If that makes sense. Then I had the skin when u lift ur upper lip that goes to ur gum I had that cut n removed because my natural teeth had a gap. I am so happy I did this aswell. So so happy way better than dealing with constant infection constant pain an just overall the visual look aswell. But I do have a sore spot on the bottom an im searching denture youtube videos for help lmao ik its to be expected an all an it being a week and still having a ridic amount of stitches hanging everywhere I cant use adhesive the tops fit great. The bottoms too except the left side. Im 31. I put this off forever but I finally got the balls to do it an im so thrilled i did it.
My E-Day was Monday February 3rd. I got immediate dentures as well but they are too big. I can barely close my mouth. I went in Tuesday for adjustments and asked to have the teeth filed down but it didn’t really help much. I am going in next Wednesday for another adjustment so maybe they can fix it this time. It’s frustrating I have to wait that long.
I just got mine 24 hrs ago, I took them out for first time it was a little painful but not like tooth pain!...Im not going to put them back in for 2 days let swealing go down...but your absolutely correct best decision ever!..never again will tooth pain hold me down!..
New Subscriber..I"m a year into an upper denture. It's not been very good for me but I did a realign the other day and they fit a lot better. I'm scheduled to get my permanent upper in April. Now what my problem has been I still have 7 lower teeth that are due to come out waiting on my ins to say yea go ahead. The reason I have had problems eating is the front part of the upper is hitting the lower front real teeth I have left bringing down the back of the upper. The dentist that made the upper told me until I get my lower's I'll have this problem. Glad I found you're channel You have done very well. I had pretty good teeth until I Was 55 then all of a sudden they just started breaking off and I could not afford crowns and root canals. When I was a kid my parents only sent us to the dentist for extractions. My parents were wonderful but we grew up poor. No excuse as I honestly didnt' do very good job taking care of my teeth plus the fact I smoke etc. Thru the years I have had many abcess teeth. That is really bad pain to deal with as well. God Bless I subscribed want to stay with you're journey.
Much appreciated and it will get better once you can get a lower made. Waiting on insurance reat does suck because the pain and agony we can experience only makes it worse. Had mine done 12/22 and as of today can’t get my lowers in because they don’t have a place to sit. Going in Monday to demand they make them fit somewhere
Glad you’re feeling good man. I am getting soon upper denture, remove the teeth and… am a bit worry, in fact am not yet sure if I shall do this. I have been diagnosed with severe gum desease
Glad I can help, there is nothing to worry about I promise. I was just like you initially, until I went through the entire process. It's very safe, and absolutely worth it. I'd do it all over again, and tell myself not to stress so much if I could. That's how confident I am in it being nothing to be too scared over. Hope this helps, good luck!
May I ask are these your permanent dentures or are you waiting for them. I have seen no updates. I hope you are doing great. I just figured out permanent dentures another 3 g. I'm in NJ. Unfortunately. Thank you
Your videos are extremely comforting… I’m about to have most of my teeth extracted through sedation in the next 2 weeks && I’m not so much scared of the pain given that anyone who has a tooth abscess or toothache in general will understand when I say, tooth abscess pain is one if not the worst pain you can experience.. & I’ve been dealing with both for years now so not really scared of physical pain but damn is it an absolute mental f*ck to go through this…
I love your mug!! Btw. I just got my temp dentures today. I got all my teeth extracted. I am a little nervous that I wasnt able to put my immediate ones in due to the bleeding. I have them in now, just the top. My surgeon said wait until a week or so to put in the bottom due to the stitching and swelling. Its good to listen to your story. I was very leery about getting all my teeth pulled. But I am happy with the results as of now. SO thanks for your video
Brooks, I am getting all upper extractions next Monday. To start my denture journey. I drink coffee, I am wondering if having milks in it still stains dentures versus drinking it black. Great videos and motivating too. Your smile looks great.
Thank you so much for the video information. I just had mine done on Tuesday 11/10, full mouth extraction and same day dentures. I couldn’t afford the implants, went and got 2 quotes one was $26,000 and second $30,000. I was like might as well buy a brand new car. I am in some pain but not to bad. More so in the mornings then through out the day.
Thank you !you have eased my anxiety I was afraid I wouldn't be able to talk at all for months because of the swelling and something foreign in my mouth
I went to Aspen dental. My initial cost was $8,011. My insurance sucks and only paid $1,000 but I signed up for careington dental savings. I paid them $149 once and they saved me over 3k!! So now my final cost is $3,692 for a full mouth extraction, my immediate dentures and my permanent dentures. Aspen applied for care credit for me and I was approved so now I have a monthly payment that’s around $100 a month until they’re paid for. Tomorrow is my E day!!
Every few months i have to take antibiotics as I have teeth that have rotted to the point i have an exposed nerve. I told myself that I would only get dentures if I could get snap in dentures. I think my fear is my dentures falling out or not having the bite power to eat whatever food i want. Do you have basic dentures as well? Do you have to wear denture cream to keep them from sliding around? When they get loose can you get the relining done? And if so how expensive and how long does it take them to re-form them to fit snug in your mouth? I appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions. I am constantly in pain, constantly looking for antibiotics when it gets out of control or swollen. I constantly have an ice pack, my mood is terrible. I talk for a living so my speech is pretty important. I do have a month of vacation time, I was thinking about taking 2 weeks off. Do you think id be able to talk ok to the point i can talk to our customers? Also I am absolutely not leaving that office without temporary dentures, once i am healed i will have a different set of dentures? Ones that are customized for my mouth? I am sorry if my questions seem like they have already been answered.
I had 24 extractions and immediate dentures 3 days ago. Very swollen and trying not to freak out because my dentures are sitting funny in my mouth and it looks like they are crooked.. They are gonna fix this in the realign right?!
I have three weeks until mine and everything in me is telling me to run away and cancel the appointment. I have crippling fear over this. 19 extractions. Including three surgical removal due to being broke off at the gum line. Idk if i can do this shit
I had the same crippling fear brother. But after it was said and done, I seriously realized I was gonna be OK. And you will be too. I promise that. Hope this finds you well and can ease your struggle. It'll be ok
I know this is a few months old but they look amazing. Im the same age and I go in on the 14th of next month(Sept) to have my extractions done and my immediates placed. I have to do a wax rim bite registration tomorrow. I have a question what shade did you go with? I ask because they are nice and bright but they don't look unnatural and I'm starting to second guess my shade decision and wondering if I should go brighter.
Hi!your videos have been helping me a lot and I’m having my first consultation this week. Pardon me if this is too personal but can you give me any clarity on the cost that you dealt with. I know it varies greatly depending on the person and type of dentures but any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Chad B
Hey I'm 32 and I recently had 30 teeth extracted (One of which was a Wisdom Tooth)about a month ago. I wanted to ask you when you did your impressions for your dentures. When did they do yours? Was it before or after your extractions. Because I'm my case they did mine while I still had teeth and most of them were broken bad and messed up at the time. The reason I am asking this is because you'res look they fit you really well. Mine haven't fit me right yet. LoL and I was wondering if that might be why?
After extractions. Not sure why they'd do it before. 🤔 It doesn't make sense to do it that way if I'm being honest... Hope all is well, and everything goes good for you

It looks great U did the best decision
I am so afraid of gagging on the palate. How do you find it? I am thinking of going with horseshoe dentures.
Hope you are still doing well!!!
Thanks so much for your videos!
How did you pay for them? I can't find a place I can afford and I only need the top!
Doing this now but no immediate waiting for gums to heal first so i dont have ti get so many fittings
Will you post a before picture?
Thanks for the videos! I’m on day 6 and experiencing a lot of pressure on my bottom front…..did you experience this?
I have three weeks until mine and everything in me is telling me to run away and cancel the appointment. I have crippling fear over this. 19 extractions. Including three surgical removal due to being broke off at the gum line. Idk if i can do this shit
I had the same crippling fear brother. But after it was said and done, I seriously realized I was gonna be OK. And you will be too. I promise that. Hope this finds you well and can ease your struggle. It'll be ok
Did you use your dentist or go to a specialty clinic like Aspen?.
Thanks! Chad B
I'm 4 days post op 22 teeth extracted took 5 hours om very sore swollen any ideas for relief making myself wear dentures all day out at night
You look so wonderful
I've heard so many people say "getting dentures was the best thing I ever did for myself."
Hope all is well, and everything goes good for you
So im 24 and getting this done
Don’t feel bad, I’m 25 and going through the same thing. Never in a millions years would I think it would be this early but hey life happens 💯
Thank you.
The only thing i am worrying about is being put to sleep. Never been under before.
Wait what are all the procedures u had
What do they do for sore spots?
For sore spots, it's recommended to see your dentist for a proper adjustment. I had to do that multiple times in my first year. Hope this helps 🙏
@@Rusticshot84 Thank you for your helpful videos. You look great.
Got full extraction in about an hour.
Are they permanent dentures?
Can you eat anything now ?
😊❤️
I'm a chicken.. I might have to be put to sleep. In a few days I get my teeth pulled out.
Do not get dentures made at Mortensen family dental!!! You will thank me and my friends later, not a good place for dentures
