At the age of 59, I still carry scars from my childhood that make me prone to worry. My biological father was a violent, abusive person who did everything possible to instill fear and insecurity in his kids. In addition, I have clinical depression and PTSD. This message was very helpful. Thank you and please pray for me.

I am on the Greyhound bus on the way to a new big city, and I am feeling anxious and all alone about moving to Boston. I thought she was a good person to follow years ago, but never took the time in my selfcentered ungodly life.
But for the past 6 months i have listen to her everyday. She says she feels it's her area to teach spiritual maturity. I like Steve Furnick also.

When i got saved i planted myself in the rocky area beside the road. 6 months ago i felt the need to immerse my self in Gods word.
I feel that a new Christian does not become what God intends at acceptance and baptism. We, we,because i also feel the need, need to be told all these things she teaches. We need role models to show us the way. God is helping me by placing Mrs. Meyers avaliable to me. I dont have a real flesh and blood Christian in my life. We need role models like her and mentors. We could use thousands of her to help guide us. We have the Holy Ghost though right? Well, how do i contact my Holy Ghost? These things are not common knowledge.
And she is just so real. Mrs. Joyce i know that you know the importance of us having your guidance. Learning everything else i know by chasing after him and, trying to listen for God is very hard on my own. I dont even have a physical church to attend

I don't have peace about ANYTHING in my life. So am I supposed to sit around and do absolutely nothing in life. It really applies to everything. Idk why I feel this way I didn't have a horrible childhood etc.

I love listening to Joyce but every video she mentions the abuse she suffered from her dad. I hope she truly heals. Not saying it in a bad way, but to be reminded in all her videos….😑

I think she mentions it in all of her videos because there are sooo many people that have been through the same abuse as her. Her program is seen in many countries by many people and I’m thinking that she wants to make sure that people who have been through terrible abuse can be healed like she is. I believe that Hod healed her and she wants everyone to know that God can heal them too. Just my opinion.
I think she mentions it as it helps others, also prayer requests get sent to her. Thank God.
