Gawd, why do they disable cutskips for cutscenes involving your avatar answering a question? The intro of the game had a answer-the-question and you could skip that! :(
Archer Class quests are notorious for this. Over half of the class quests have unskippable cutscenes. I think they got a page from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix... which even on the PS4 still has the unskippable intro and those two scenes in Hollow Bastion.
Oh yeah, we don't talk about Castrum Meridian or the Prateoreum. X(
You used to be able to skip Castrum and Prae, back until I think mid HW. People were complaining, because they'd be doing the opening cutscene, then immediately see the first boss cutscene, then miss riding the Magitek, then be seeing Nero's scene, and by the time that finished they were fighting Ultima weapon.
It ruined the experience for newer players, and supposedly coding to allow skips for a full party of already cleared was too hard with the spaghetti code, so now everyone has to sit and watch the devistation that was not intended.
@@pompeocavaliere1962 The spaghetti code in this game ruins QoL mechanics. Can't use portable orchestrion to change background music. Can't change class because you have 34/35 ring space. Glamour system is garbage. Inventory handling is annoying.
