sir, in training sample manager step, while drawing the polygons for image classification, how do we know that the red colour is agricultural land and blue colour is build up area.

You can choose Any other images like LISS III or Sentinel 2 for LULC
JUST TO ADD WE CAN DO AREA CALCULATION AND PERCENTAGES IN ARC MAP ITSELF IF WE CAN DISSOLVE THE CLASSES AND MERGE THEM AND CALCULATE GEOMETRY MUCH EASIER THAN USING EXCEL

sir. what is the different between extract by mask and when we just makes clip to stalitte image to the same erea that you already extract by mask ?
Clip tool is useful for Vector data and Extract by mask is useful for raster data
Can I use all the available 12 bands instead of 7 ? How do we decide the no. ?
Resolution of 1 to 7 band is 30 meter, same spatial resolution so that's we use 7 bands

Supervised classification can be more accurate then unsupervised if we take more accurate training sample

Why I m facing problem during uploading Landsat image .it shows me to build raster pyramid.and also the image classification tool is not working. Pls tell me how can I do it?
Click yes on build raster pyramid and as you are saying classification tool is not working for that go to customize- then Extensions- Select all the extensions
Good day sir, when adding USGS data in Arcmap it asked me if I want to build pyramids for it and I don't know how to proceed next so I just clicked yes but then the image quality is pixelated when zoomed in and I can't even see the urban areas properly.

Same process for Landsat 5 just need to take first 5 band for band combination
Sir, why did you convert to excel? you could have dissolve vector by names then you can calculate the total area easily.
Sir Maine 7 band use kre hai ... aur mai jb usme se mera study area extract kr rhi hu to band composition is different different for comp band and my extracted study area ....mai kya kru

To activate your classification tool Go to Customize - Extension and then select Spatial analyst tool
My landsat composite after shapefile extraction of study area comes out super bright. I dunno what I’m doing wrong.

In Images Classification tool add by right click to blank space but this not active? Can you tell mi what can u do next for activation??

Full Satellite image of Landsat you need to download then only you can extract your study area if you have shapefile of your study area

Too many pixels in a signature file can cause ArcGIS to frequently experience issues. you can reduce the size of pixel sample and try again

When I tried to save signature file in particular folder it's showing failed to create but save in desktop and when I tried to classify sometimes error results showing classes value less than 1 and sometimes same training sample only classified 1 or 2 classes although I'm create 6or 5 classes why?
You need to take more training samples in each land use classes
@@vikasghadamode My study area is Mountainous region and there is a lot of shadow and less no. of built-up are and agriculture so the Color these 2 and barren land are similar because of that I only take 2or 3 sample these 2 class to avoid the misclassification is there any solution for this Sir thank you in advance
