According to Dublin Live, there was a cull period between August of 2022 and April 2023. You had to get a licence though. It said 1 person got the licence and a few companies did too. Not much more info. In fact, as an Irish person myself, I didn't hear anything about it. Hilariously, I found another website for bird enthusiasts decrying the cull. One commenter said that we should cull cats and dogs instead since there are a nuisance just like seagulls. If I may make a pun, I think these people are bird brained :3
