I believe intercontinental flights are better, especially Air China's PEK-FRA route is one of their top international flights but I'm not sure what they have changed after the epidemic

I don’t check in with any bag but for the most Asian airlines have free luggage around 20kg unless they are budget airlines, the food is good at least they have a wide variety of categories. The service is just average because for domestic 1h economy class most airlines are similar

I took this plane from Frankfurt to Beijing in 2019 (first leg flight from London). The service was decent.
