Beautiful automobile and more of an adoption than a sale.. Always glad to see these beauties being "curated" by someone who cares!
Stylemaster was truly the correct name, gorgeous vehicle.
Glad it's staying local, hope you see it being enjoyed properly and not getting "rims" and a loud stereo "system"
Goodbye old friend. Thank you for sharing. All of us are just caretakers of the old classics.
Kinda like saying goodbye to an old friend. She is one beautiful original car and a true gem. Can't wait to see what is next.
Beautiful car. Sets the standard for my old Chev. I have a 54 Chevrolet 210 I'm restoring. With original styling in mind. Has a 58 Chevrolet 235 dressed as a 54. But, I got an little fancy with installing a 5 speed and an open drive 57 Chevrolet rear end. Just makes it cruise a little better with easier to find parts. Going back with original color, interior, and bias ply tires 🤙
Beautiful car. Nothing else like original. It also shows the value of a heated garage.
Loved it. What a beautiful car.. funny- it really wasn't a luxury car by the standards of 1948, it was really a working person's car.. an 'average Joe' kind of vehicle. Even so, the attention to detail from the factory, the lovely woodgrain interior trim, the bakelite handles, radio, heater and that cool rear floor heater.. and the smoothness of that 6.. wow. too bad all of that craftsmanship seems to be focused elsewhere now. Glad to see Matt out of his cast.
That car is awesome. I love the colour as well. I hope the new owner will take good care of it and enjoy it for many years
When I was in grade school back in the 1950s one of our neighbors had a car very similar to this. During the frigid winters Henry would give me and my sister a ride to school in his old Chevy. He'd let me and my sister sit up front by the heater to stay warm and have his two boys sit in the back. I still remember that old car and how nice it was of Henry giving us a warm ride to school.
Sorry to see the Chevy go, but I bet we'll see her again. Very happy to see Matt without those darned wooden pegs under his arms. Jim should be due for an extra week's vacation this year, and I bet all next year's Christmas decorations will be at ground level!
Thanks for the farewell roundup, fellas. A lovely car and an I'm sure the new owner will cherish it. All the best, Mart in England.
Beautiful survivor. Nothing breaks my heart more than a perfect original car surviving unmolested 50 or 100 years only to have a wisdom-challenged new owner doll it up with the latest cool performance products from rockauto/eckler's sending the original factory parts to a landfill. Surprising but original cars are highly sought after by mod'ers because they are easiest to "improve".
That's awesome !!! Glad she found a good home .
Glad to see it go to a good home after all your quality work.
Fantastic car, really have to appreciate how things were built back in the day.
Bon voyage old friend!!!
What a sweetheart!
Wait, what?
The *car* , Jim - I was talking about the *car* . Sheesh....

What a treat to have bought this car new, and to be so proud to drive it back in 1948! Cheers!
The Chevy was a real beauty! It's really fun to see an original car. Thanks for the walk around.
I love love LOVE the stork sign. Reprints needed.
It's amazing the accessories they had like heat to the rear, all the chrome, and last that well, an amazing vehicle, great find, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Congratulations on the sale, I hope that you made a profit on it. I am going to miss seeing the old gal, she was just so darn pretty.
Dan loves those clean originals. Every time i see you guys dismount old tires i can just see Scotts eyes lite up! My classic tire donations. Keep up the good content. Nice to see you back on the bias.
Glad you found it a good home! What a nice machine... Can't wait to see what's next!
Don't you have enough cars?
Good job guys, it looks amazing.
Such a fantastic example vehicle. Got to love that 216.
Seeing it pull away in the snow was super satisfying. Love that car. Nice work, and as you said, on to the next one! Cheers!
I love everything about this survivor, including the video of it dashing through the snow. Cheers!
What a beautiful automobile!
I'm the guy with the 1969 Rover 3 litre Scott's fixed the fender on his midweek body bashing segments. I asked him if you guys would be interested in swapping out my ring gear and torque converter? Colin has a spare he offered me, but Scott thought maybe the car is too new, and British. Lol
Great showing of that beautiful car, your work and expertise shows well, thank you for the tour
Love that Chevy, it's amazingly original. Beautiful work.
New custodian is very lucky
"Can't keep 'em all." Why not?? Scott does! 😄
Thanks for the update, boys - that is such a pretty car!
Thanks for the update! Great job finding the best home for this car such an important job! Take care for now.
great that it went to a local good home. Good job.
Love this car. Beautiful sounds. Glad you found an original W1 carb. They work better on the 216
Glad it passed through your hands you guys. Thanks for sharing.
Such a treat of history!!!
What a sweet Chevy that was.
Congratulations to the new owner!
SOmeone got a great car there! and that is staying local is even nicer!
Sweet ride! Stay cool safe ALL thank you
Matt, Jim, love the show. Someone in your area is getting a beautiful car. Happy for them and happy for you guys.
Thanks for sharing and can't wait for the next one! Cheers from Ohio
Wonderful old bus. Thanx for the update. Good to see you off you're off your crutches!
Y'all did a great job maintaining and detailing a true classic. Now more room for vintage Ford projects.
That is a really nice old car !
I guess you guys need to think of yourselves the same way as someone who fosters a shelter pet until it finds a new home. You nurture it and care for it until the right person comes along. It may be hard to let go but you know it's the right thing to do... On to the next deserving "pet"!
I think it would truly be an honor to own such a car. That car is immaculate!
You guys are awesome
👍👌👏 2) I simply love nearly everything that is green. Congrats for selling it, especially to the right guy.
Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards, luck and especially health to all involved people.
WOW, GORGOUES car. I'm so jealous of the new owner.
Great old classic bow tie.
I hate to be jealous but I will. What a great Auto
that car is so beautiful! my favorite color
Pontiac straight eight would be nice
That car is such a gorgeous car
What a great car guys! They are only original once as they say! I would love to hear a bit about the nice little hot rod in your garage' I believe it's a light blue green ( I'm color blind there) 35 Ford. Your show is improving every episode and I think people really like to see different car content. You guys and Scott offer real Canadian content.Really down to earth humor and a laid back style just like the era of the cars. I never thought a model T could hold my interest until Scott (CWMC) featured his. I really enjoyed the vintage and antique farm episode where you guys were threshing and driving steam tractors. Sorry for the babble.
Dang I wish that was coming to my home 😕 what an absolute work of art.
Gorgeous car.
Sorry to see the Chevy leaving the garage, but hopefully the new owner will continue to use the services of your garage to keep the little lady on pristine running condition.
Hiya Matt and Jim
Look Ma! No Crutches!
What a beautiful automobile.
Nice work, gentlemen (and those otherwise associated 😉!)! She sure came around! You are (all) excellent ambassadors of important automotive history providing its new caring owner their opportunity to add to that history. That's awesome! Also, your mechanical abilities are obvious, commendable, and enjoyable on my end of these wires! 💯 It's important work. Thank you!
I envy the new owner. What an absolute treat.
That is a sweet looking car. Congrats to the new care takers.
Nice old car I always noticed in the back ground when Scott would pop in to see or get something done.
Beautiful!
Such a beautiful car.
I won't shed any tears over it, but it is a little
sad to see her go.....
I'm sure the MONEY might come in handy, eh?
On to the Conti, then? Hope So!

Love it. Somebody is going to be very happy.
congratulations 👏 delivered to a good 👍 new owner 😀
I have a 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Just like it, even the same color. All original!
Completley amazing, beautiful original car. Great coffee test , lol
Beautiful old Chevy.
Good to see an unmolested original. No LS swap, no alloy wheels...
Awesome! 🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
Excellent 👌 everything
We had a 41 Pontiac Tudor Torpedo. The sheet metal and front end are identical... this coupe has a different roof line, but Wow.... great car. Love your Channel..yup and yup!!
I'm more of a ford guy. But it is a beautiful car that deserves a good home thanks for the posting on her.
Now it can be featured in more car shows and win some new ribbons.
Lovely car glad to see you with your boots on,stay safe.
Thank GOD it's not gonna be street rodded.
* Hey Gents ! Bummer , I wanted that Chev ! 🤭👍
you can put 2ea 8 gallon cream cans in the trunk.
My mom had a 48 Chevy I never saw it I’ve only seen pictures way cool stuff. Thanks for the video.
So good. Thanks gentlemen!
Great vids fellas!
Jaw dropping car!
You just can’t beat a great survivor car like this one, I would take this over a car that’s been restored down to the last nut and bolt anytime. Sorry to see it go but you’re running a business. We are only ever the caretakers of these things until they get passed on to the next caretaker.
Hey my brother great card is originally congratulations ❤😂.
Matt good to see you back on the two legs and class video as always. Keeping it real fella’s!
A true "cream puff". Thanks for sharing.
Have a '47, same body style, in "storage" at my parent's house up near Anchorage, Alaska if you want another project! LOL!
my 48 chevy had a 45 amp generator not the cheap 30amp like a 53 had. my favorite old chevy was the 1950 I hope you find one
Love your channel. Saw it on Cold War Motors
That truly is a lovely old car !!! I have always loved Model A's but in their original form, they are a bit "awkward" in modern day traffic. Most "modern" folk in their "digital rockets" are not amused or entertained by the old iron and just find it a "roadblock". This car can go anywhere. Did it have the overdrive ?? I once had a 48 Chevy Tudor with the overdrive. It was great on the highway !!
Will the new owner be doing his own maintenance or will he be bringing it back to you guys??
Looking forward to seeing what "turns up" next !! 🛠⚙🔧🔩🗜⛏🔨👍👍👍
ahhhhh and now there is budget for new audio gear ;)
1948 Chevrolet😀
