True. The initial good or bad luck basically determines your life completely. You didn't choose the family you were born into, you didn't choose how they raised you, and you didn't choose your personality. Even people who are lazy, stupid or evil can't basically do anything about it if they are not lucky enough to experience something that would initiate the change.
