Yes, holy spirit of our God would move for us in all our situation. We would still ask the holy spirit to move for us and in our favour; even if holy spirit has not moved for us. We would have faith in adversity, just like Daniel's three companions who's faith in their God never changed despite threat of imminent burning furnance. Come holy spirit.
What happened after this song!!!!??? It seems such an invitation for Holy Spirit to come. What happened next? Not sure what I’d have done next - I think there’d have been a long wait at least 😇🤪🙏 Intrigued.
Hey Phil - apologies for the slow reply! It was a really powerful time of encounter at the recording night - there was a huge amount of joy and freedom in the room. But I guess the real answer to what happened next is a story we're continuing to try and live out now as a church. The heart of the song is a prayer for a move of the Spirit more than just a moment. We're starting to see small tremors in the life of our church but longing for so many more testimonies of salvation, healing and deliverance. Do continue to pray with us!
@danw9464 I was there, as I am when they have their prayer & worship niies & to be honest, the prayer & worship nights are fantastic. The album recordings was very much like a regular worship nite at kxc, apart from the cameras & set songs for the album. Definitely no performances. Infact it was a 🔥 🕊 powerful time of worship, so much fun. Always feel rejuvenated after the worship nite at KXC. Lydia & Rich live the songs they write.

Hey though the Holy Spirit is omnipresent. I think the reason we invite him is because we are wanting/ longing to manifest in a specific tangible way. It reminds me when Paul prays for Beleivers in Ephesians 3 "that Christ would dwell in our hearts through faith" though they already had the indwelling Christ he was praying that God would have more of them. I also think it's a way of saying that we are making room for you. Hope this is helpful. I still wonder if there is a better way to word it.
Absolutely yes!! The Holy Spirit moves however, whenever and wherever He wants to. Music and songs are merely an expression of our response to him and an (often feeble) attempt to give voice to our the deep longings of our hearts (deep crying out to deep)
So why do you never see a church service where the open ministry of the Holy Spirit is welcomed, with out band, worship leader, latest songs, and the associated razzmatazz ? I guess any church gathering that just met and waited on God, with no music, would not get many attendees?
@@kentonnur Sorry I know this is 4 months on…There are many churches in the world and so I imagine there will be churches out there that don’t welcome the ministry of the Holy Spirit with music, singing, band, etc. I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with that and we shouldn’t be dependent on these things if I’ve understood where you might be coming from. With that being said, there are a number verses but the two below may give an idea of where the stirring comes from to want to welcome and express our love for and longing for the Holy Spirit through music, singing, etc. Personally, the Holy Spirit moving in me has caused a song to rise up and out of me many times. “Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!” Psalm 95:2 ESV “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,” - Ephesians 5:18-19 ESV
