@@Fishaholic I’m not sure of the dimensions or gallons in the pond. If large enough a couple of Chinese hifin sharks would be awesome. Bitterlings also make great year round pond fish and are often used with other species.
Great video's, this pond is awesome and I'm planning to try something very similar, so this is extremely helpful to me. I subscribed =) Was 1 x 4L container of Liquid Reinforcing Fabric enough for this pond project? (or did you use more)
I only used 1 can but it was just to give Plywood long life. I have used under layment and pond liner later on in this project. Glass window is installed and made a filter too. Video will be uploaded this friday
What sort of paint did you use for the inside of your pond? I have an old bard in my back yard and judging by the amount of water it holds I thought it would be quite a comical pond. I presume that the wood has sealed all the cracks with swelling but wonder how fish would cope in it!
Hi, I have used a waterproofing membrane on the inside of the pond. Pond has epdm liner to hold the water. Membrane was applied to increase moisture resistance to the marine grade plywood. It's basically an overkill.
Hi mate, cost of pond approximately 4K which includes filter and lighting. Glass was 800 and liner and Underlay cost me just under 700. Structural timber, sleepers, marine Plywood, decking board were other expensive items
Trop bien comme d'habitude félicitations
Thank you David, glad you like the pond video
It's looking amazing.Looking forward to seeing this full brother.
Thank you Heap, have a lovely weekend mate
Nice build. Can’t wait to see fish in it.
Thank you Caylors, any suggestions on freshwater outdoor unheated pond fish that enjoys fast flowingwater? Apart from koi and goldies.

Its not that big, 2.3m in length, 1.2 in width and 1.1m in height. I believe 2500L volume. Appreciate the suggestions

What is the green stuff you are using for water proofing? Thanks!
It's a shower waterproofing material, Chromelin.
Hi mate. Approximately how much did it cost you to build it? Good to see someone from Oz. Awesome job, love it

@@Fishaholic Thanks for the reply mate. Now I have to save up and build one. Well done
@@flipperj394 wish you all the best
@@Fishaholic If you don’t mind, which silicon did you use around the window? I see vids from America but we usually don’t have what they use. Thanks
@@flipperj394 I have used ideal seal ms290, cost around 30 bucks per silicone
What’s the woods name you used to cover everything up and that you stained brown
Hi, I have used treated pine decking boards to cover up the pond. Same wood that has been used for the decking .
