Tere Naam is such a nostalgia. The movie was such a trend setter.. I can remember almost every boy of our village having that haircut and buying peacock feather 😅 and all songs were playing everywhere. ❤

Lot of boys in India back then got that haircut. It was quite a huge thing back then. Got popular as the tere naam haircut. Later it got associated with cringe in India. There have been 2-3 instances in the early 2000s where hairstyles caught on. The most memorable was tere naam followed by Ghajini.

The music album of the movie tops the list of my playlist, I have heard the whole album so many times it's so memorable and wonderful, Addictive.
Himesh Reshammiya Composition in the movie was way ahead at the time, his music is still a big hit even now
I personally think you should go for the original version of this movie that is "Sethu" Tamil movie by Vikram. This movie made Vikram as a star and even today we call him "Chiyaan Vikram" which started from this movie.
Nobody cares for south movies here.
I watched sethu and hucha. But I found Radhe was very respectful to nirjara and her sister. Whereas the other two heroes were so ill mannered
Woah that’s unexpected but thank you for reacting to this golden memory of our childhood and epic blockbuster of Salman Khan - Tere Naam movie, plus it’s a remake of a 1999 Tamil film called Sethu starring Vikram (the actor who did movies like I and is known for portraying Prince Adithya Kalikaran from PS-1 and PS-2 movie by Mani Ratnam)
Also another interesting fact: it’s been 20 years since this movie came out 💖🤩😁

THE HAIR STYLE OF SALMAN KHAN IN TERE NAAM WAS NATIONAL SENSATION AT THAT TIME.
What you commented about Salman's hair brought back a lot of memories. I remember we used to call it "loiki style"(literally meaning buffalo's horn style)😂😂. This style had 2 phases...one was because of Jack in Titanic in the late 90s and the other one was because of this movie in the early 2000s. I was still very young at that time but I remember many of our older brothers styling their hair like Leonardo and Salman. The good old simple days.😁

In the history of the Jaby Koay channel, now called CineDesi, it's the first time I've felt a bit annoyed with their video editing. Jaby and Vivian repeatedly share their thoughts on the most interesting parts of movies, which we Indian viewers love. But in this video, it felt like you both talked more about your own experiences than the movie itself. This made the video a bit boring and left me unhappy and within 15 mins. of the video I switched to some other video.
The things you do for views are appalling. Always choosing to watch the Hindi remakes over the original one.

Usually I like your choices of the movies. The only time i have issues against the choices is when you guys watch the remakes and skip out on the original movie completely. Sure Tere Naam is a good movie. Won many awards too. But.... It is still the remake of Sethu....one of the classics in actor Vikram's (from the movie Anniyan) film career.
He is doing this for the views of Hindi audience. He did the same with Ghajini. These Hindi remakes ultimately take credit and the original gets sidelined because of this!
