Makar Sankranti Special Til ke laddu is here! How can we ever imagine this festival without Til ke Laddu. Be it North, South, West or East of India, Til ke Laddu is mandatory for this festival. Although only 3 ingredients are required to make the Til ke Laddu and the process to make the Til ke Laddu is also quite easy, there are a few hurdles while making the Til ke Laddu like the right ratios, how to know whether the jaggery has been cooked to the right temperature for the Til ke Laddu or not.

Recipe :
Til ke Laddu
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 14-15
Ingredients:
2 cups Sesame seeds
2 cups grated jaggery
2 tbsp Desi Ghee
Method:
Toast the sesame seeds on medium heat while stirring continuously.
Once toasted transfer to another container to cool.
Heat a pan and add the ghee in it. Next add in the jaggery and begin melting on low heat. Once the jaggery starts foaming, cook for about a minute.
Turn of the flame and mix the sesame quickly into the jaggery. Do not over cool it, otherwise it will harden and set.
Dip your hand in a bowl of water. Using a spoon put a small portion of the mixture in your hand. Gently shape the mixture into a ball using wet hands. Allow to cool completely before storing.
