    My most favourite things to eat... My mom use to make it specially in makarsankranti time .. while making her hands used to burn so I was always telling her that when my child will be there I will not prepare it... Now my son is 1 year old nd I make for him .. chef u made that all memories alive ... Thank you 🙏

    In Bengali this round laddu is "Murir Moya". Outside of school we found the same thing but in square shaped, called "Khaja" !!!

    My dadi used to make these laddoos but my mom didn't know how to prepare it and as a result after dadi expired haven't got to taste those yummy laddoos for years. Although murmura laddoos are available in few shops in Kolkata but "wo wali taste nhi milta".. Thanks to you sir almost a decade later finally got the recipe.. can't wait to make this.

    Hey ..m Marathi ...we prepare these laddus for marriage .. bride ke sath diye jaate hai ..aur bhi gud chasni ke laddu bante hai ..Jaise sabut sengdana , khopra pieces tied with white thread . Size bhi bada hota hai ..chhote kharbuje jitna .. tasty snack .. all-time favourite ❤️

    In bihar ,this dish is called 'laie'.
    This is the most important dish on makarsankranti festival...In fact , the festival is incomplete without laie...

    In Bangladesh it’s called “muri Mua” very popular.
    At lest 70% of Bangladeshi famous dishes are very much similar to the Punjabi Dish, I really wonder how it’s just happened.

    In Karnataka, we call it as "Puri unde", means puffed rice ball. We usually prepare during marriages. It's also mixed with roasted ground nut, fried gram and dry coconut pieces.

    In Bengali we called it 'murir muaa' and believe me it is really very tasty . It is usually prepared during Vijaya Dashmi.

My dad is part of the Punjabi writer club in chandigarh Baltvi, balvant gargi, Kulwant singh Virk and many many more writers and poets. I was young when baltavi uncle and all the writes come over to our house. Love the way you tell the story and bring back your memories. The real history behind the food you are cooking. We left indian over 37 years ago. We don’t have roots in india. I have told my friends and family about your RUclips channel. I share your recipes.     Itna accha laga to hear from your mouth Ranveer Brar when you called laiya patti!!! My family was from Eastern UP but I was born and raised in Northern UP so had more influence of punjabis and gharwalis but my grandma who lived with us used to make these laddoos and they’re still my fav 😋 And to hear it from a Punjabi just makes it even sound better!! You brought back my beautiful childhood memories 😇
