Ken! This whole event was surreal. From veggin’ out on the couch with my kids watching all my favorite RUclipsrs, to working hand in hand with them here at this event. Thanks for all your help getting the hotel facilitations and staying up until midnight for a warm parking lot welcome. Such a stand up group of individuals that I’m proud to know!
It was absolutely my pleasure to have you in town for the event, even if I wasn’t the event host! I just enjoy helping out. This was my second year in attendance and first year with a machine. Last year, I simply brought safety shoes, gloves, and earmuffs, so that I could lend a hand. Hope you had a great time even if it was a turn and burn trip for you….!!
Looks like you had all the help you needed and made a great pile of wood. It was nice to be able to fill a few trailers and deliver them without having to unload them. I am a cancer survivor and had wanted to come to that event but was told I wasn't invited. I am glad you had a beautiful day and great turnout, and you got it all done. I didn't realize it was the same weekend as the Hoosier Firewood Hysteria veteran's reunion, so I went there and watched the wood we did in April go out all day. It was the first day of a 7-day event and they had already sold 2 cords. The wood delivery cart did not stop. You guys are doing a good thing for people that are in a bad place in their lives. BLESS YOU.
Hello James! I am sorry to hear that you were told you were “uninvited”…. None of my closest woodhound friends would have ever said that to you. Lord knows what happened!? Or was it someone in your family that told you were not allowed to attend? Catch you on the next video…
@@kenskuts Nope, it was one of the guys that started it. don't want to mention any names. They know who they are. Thankfully you got enough help closer to the event. It would have been a 9-10 hr. drive for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you guys Thursday night as well. I will always remember the VermonT-er girl at the Hampton Inn! 😂🤣😜
50+ cord is an amazing feat for the day, I'm happy you had a machine to play with this year all to yourself too😂😂 Nice video and see ya in a few weeks brother
@wolcottfamilyworks - Absolutely! I was working with Craig who is a HOPE volunteer and he was chucking the wood I split into his dump trailer. (Plus Anderson was conveying wood into Craig’s trailer too) He took a 6 x 12 out for delivery three times. Twice before lunch and once after lunch. He calls his trailer load a country cord, which is a generous 1.25 cord….!
Yup that's why he got a nice break in between loading trailers😂😂 I believe he took 3 loads out for delivery. Ken was filling those trailers up fast too!!!

Yup 👍 6x12 @ 1.25 “country” cords, three times! So HOPE was making $$$ while we were on location splitting!!!
