Ok so here is how I do it:
1. I kill Frosty with a second level charged swing
2. I drop hammer and inhale Frosty (with no auto swallow of course)
3. Hit Bonkers with Frosty during the frames before his entrance animation
4. And with 1 milimeter of health left on Bonkers I inhale the hammer ability that I dropped and kill him with one swing

instead of inhaling frosty you can hit bonkers with a second level charged swing before his entrance animation

Refreshing the abilities to get crash would be kinda slow compared to just using hammer, but the bug in general is the fastest way of stone grinding. Still feels very slow though since you need like 350 to max out all abilities

why does bonkers stay alive with a little bit of health when i do it ?

3 things:
1. Your hammer isn’t upgraded to the max
2. Your timing is horrible (hense why he kept pausing to significantly lower the time as he charged the crash attack)
3. You aren’t using the damage booster

I always ask myself why you use the toy hammer, I actually use the double hammer and it works well if I spam B at the right time
Is it because the bounce with toy hammer is higher?

pretty sure all the hammers would give the same amount of height, it's that fully maxed toy hammer deals more damage faster than fully maxed masked hammer

Toy hammer has the fastest charge speed for hammer flip and it does all the damage in one hit instead of multiple like masked hammer

i had problem doing this aswell at first, but you gotta shoot just before he does his animation (thats why i stop the game again and again)

If you use the high jump glitch to enter the coliseum without choosing a cup, it only makes you do the one fight

You need to time the jump button just right; a bit off still moves you up, but not as far.
