Im tapping out blue and purple belts with this. If you dont shoot out, it looks like you are going for a omoplata, its a nice way to trick them into the triangle.
You might be able to transition to a regular triangle at that point. Since your right foot is on the shoulder and you're lassoed around the other arm with a grip on the sleeve, you could shoot your right leg up and over the shoulder and then pull the arm that you have gripped in and lock the triangle up.
Great piece!
Drilled this at class today, awesome.
My fave triangle setup
Im deffinetly am going to master this
So... Did you?
@@shonekg probably not
I'm gonna write this down and go try it now!

Suppose one could shoot in for the omoplata as well.. Great stuff, gotta love this sport, full of crazy moves :D
Very Very cool
Nice move
Would this still work if they had their right knee up in the middle??
what if he just pulls the left hand backwards and you cant grab it?

You could transition to a omoplata using collar sleeve
@@Acemaster24367 yes. This works standing as well.
cool and flashy but i dont see this working in competition
I think the hard thing is going to be changing the grips, right?
Yes, but using you leg on their bicep as a point of contact will help you keep it at bay to re-adjust and get the grip
Does doing this move require a partner? If I just practice?
haha we drilled this last night love it!
Where do you train at stephan?
Wow.
А если руки сразу крестить?
Can you not simply start with switched grips ?
