When people argue about how hog is unbeatable in the comments...😂😮 Here's some great gameplay. If everyone positions correctly your hook is just a cooldown to have people sit at corners and a d you everytime they see you. At most you have then stand still for 2 second. Dorado is one of the hardest hog maps esp first choke. The skills to play his life here is what separates gm hogs from those with good hook aim.

Alright I need to ask as someone trying to get better at Hog:
How do you know when your hooks are going to hit when they are such long range? Furthermore, do you ever purposely hold your hook to counter specific abilities such as Queen Axe and Ult?

Mainly practice, imo. Once you get a feel for your max range you start getting a sense of who's close enough to catch. And having your hook prio either tank, supps, or ult is great gamesense, so is also being aware of when you can ez kill someone. If you can take 'em out, go for it (without aping, of course (unless you're nuts)). Otherwise, prioritize ability timing like when Ori's on cooldowns or a supp is about to ult.
This _might_ not be that great of advice though, as I stopped playing months ago. I don't know how the game's changed, feel free to look around for other tips.

@@Sunny-uz8cw I feel like I already kinda do these things though. I always joink Orisa when her Golden is down, and body block her when she’s tryna Javelin spin away.
With the gamesense of knowing who’s killable, I figure that out based on the HP that I leave most characters on after doing a Hook-Shoot-Melee combo. Anyone with near half hp, other than tank, dies to hog after being hooked
