Where else does that line connect to? When I got my phoenix there was 2 lines that were dry rotted and one was just folded in half. I'm not sure their purpose.

Hey I got a question, so I have a raptor 700 but the other day I was riding and my quad just turned off and it didn’t want to start anymore and yesterday I tried starting it and it started and then it just turned off after like 20-30 seconds what do you think it could be and it also took a long time to turn on. It also ended up killing my battery after it turned off when I was riding but it killed the whole power and it just didn’t want to start I tried jump starting it but the battery was still dead I’m not sure what it can be man
If it just randomly died, it's got to be either a spark or fuel issue. Pull the spark plug out. Keep it in the cap and ground it onto the exhaust and turn over the engine and see if it sparks. If it does then you have a fuel issue and my first guess would be that the fuel pump is going bad.
How much did you fix it for? I also have the same issues on both of mine
I repaired it for free out of kindness because they are friends of the family.
You can repair it easily yourself. Just replace the black hose on the carburetor.

Hey brother, so sorry for the late response.. If it is fuel injected then you can program the computer module (ECU) to spend higher RPMs thus giving you more speed. If it has carburetors there's not much you can do to spend much more RPMs. You could gain a few hundred RPMs by adding air intake exhaust and bigger jets in the carburetor otherwise your best bet would be to change out the primary and secondary clutches on the transmission.
