My mainline is 22" with ONE piece being 19" (the curved switch seen immediately after the station). it runs on all of it fine. I think min radius is 18" altho i wouldn't recommend running it on that. hope this helps!
Theyre alright. probably pulls the same as a 4-8-4. they dont have traction tires and are plastic. So despite having many wheels they wont pull like a diecast loco.

How big is the layout and what radii are your curves to get these units to look so happy on them? It ain't 22° on the mainline to be sure
