That is an Airbus 320, not exactly the " Hugest " member in the Airbus family. That honor goes to the Airbus 380.

A380, 777, 747 are huge. Spirit doesn't have any of these. These planes carry over 300 passengers unlike A320 that carry 150 to 175 depending on seat configuration

I am not impressed by the aircraft. I just seeing the place! That Beautiful island! I was half raised there! All who I am today I owe it to the great teachings I received there! Home, school, church, people who cared. Return to the USA in late 70s. Whenever I visit there I get SO SO excited when I buckle up for landing! LOVE the beaches! Wow food music friendly people! Yeh mon! Lol lol One Love!

No way a 747 could have landed at NMIA. That runway is too short. Think the same goes for those older DC that didn't have thrust reverse. 747 needs at least 10000 ft and that's for experienced pilots. So they usually land them on a 12000ft runway.

Well, i`m sorry to break it down to you, but the first 747 landed on NMIA in 1974 with British Airways coming from LHR. The Daily Gleaner even headlined the event with "conjumbolations!" 😆

What so huge about this plane?!
Whoever did this video needs to understand what "huge" means in relation to aircraft size. This is an A320 which is not that large. If you flew with Air J in the late 1990s into the mid 2000s, you would have flown on one like this because we had many in the fleet. The largest aircraft in existence are the military C5 Galaxy and the even bigger Russian Antonov.
When you read some of those comments, they does not have any form of sense at all. Because the largest airline that comes to Jamaica,it is the British airways. They carries over 750 passengers, the 747 super sonic jumbo planes. Some people read but they does not any form of understanding,we are talking about the high fares going to Jamaica all the time. Because it is just 550 miles Jamaica is from Florida and, going to New York City which is thousands of miles and the dates is. Far cheaper than going to Jamaica, also going to England. We haveto blamed the jlp party government ministers them,who gave away air Jamaica to T&T for nothing and. Leaving us Jamaican people stranded, which leaving us at a very big disadvantage to travel 🧳 abroad.

Huge airplanes would be the airbus A340-380 them you’d have another ballgame looking at the Boeing 747-57-67-777-787 which is used primarily for cargo… A320 is relatively small in comparison to the rest
