Two academic blocks were inaugurated during the 10th convocation of Delhi Technological University (DTU) by Honorable Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena and Honorable Technical Education Minister Atishi.
These eight-storey blocks with contemporary facilities designed to cater to the needs of over 5,200 students will house the departments of Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics, and will have 36 modern laboratories and 67 lecture/classrooms apart from faculty and conference rooms, Which can serve more than 5,200 students simultaneously.
The newly unveiled academic block of DTU has essential facilities like lecture halls, faculty rooms, modern Information Technology (IT) laboratory and conference rooms. In line with its comprehensive vision, DTU provides world-class technical education in the IT sector. The newly constructed academic blocks include eco-friendly elements such as rooftop solar panels, a modular rainwater harvesting system and a connecting sky ramp.
The academic block, with 36 modern laboratories, 67 classrooms, faculty rooms and conference rooms, caters to the growing demand for quality technical education. Over the last eight years the seating capacity at DTU has increased from 6,000 to over 15,000.
दिल्ली टेक्नोलॉजिकल यूनिवर्सिटी (डीयू) के 10वें दीक्षांत समारोह के दौरान दो शैक्षणिक ब्लॉकों का उद्घाटन माननीय लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर वीके सक्सेना और माननीय तकनीकी शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी ने किया। 5,200 से अधिक छात्रों की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए डिजाइन की गई समकालीन सुविधाओं वाली इन आठ मंजिला ब्लॉक में कंप्यूटर इंजीनियरिंग, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और अनुप्रयुक्त गणित विभाग होंगे, और संकाय और सम्मेलन कक्षों के अलावा 36 आधुनिक प्रयोगशालाएं और 67 व्याख्यान/कक्षाएं होंगी, जो एक साथ 5,200 से अधिक छात्रों को सेवाएं दे सकती हैं। DTU के नए अनावरण किए गए शैक्षणिक ब्लॉक में व्याख्यान कक्ष, संकाय कक्ष, आधुनिक सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (आईटी) प्रयोगशाला और सम्मेलन कक्ष जैसी आवश्यक सुविधाएं हैं। डीटीयू अपने व्यापक दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप, आईटी क्षेत्र में विश्व स्तरीय तकनीकी शिक्षा प्रदान करता है। नव निर्मित शैक्षणिक ब्लॉकों में छत पर सौर पैनल, एक मॉड्यूलर वर्षा जल संचयन प्रणाली और एक कनेक्टिंग स्काई रैंप जैसे पर्यावरण-अनुकूल तत्व शामिल हैं। शैक्षणिक ब्लॉक, 36 आधुनिक प्रयोगशालाओं, 67 कक्षाओं, संकाय कक्षों और सम्मेलन कक्षों के साथ, गुणवत्तापूर्ण तकनीकी शिक्षा की बढ़ती मांग को पूरा करता है। पिछले आठ वर्षों में डीटीयू में बैठने की क्षमता 6,000 से बढ़कर 15,000 से अधिक हो गई है।
