Thank you Josip for the review, you answered a lot of questions I had about the car, since mine is coming in two weeks time. :))
Just one small info, Enyaq (confirmed by Enyaq product manager) actually has OTA updates, there should be a charging power increase via OTA updates probably next year, which makes this car even more great. Maybe OTA will fix missing traffic lights recognition for you :)

I prefer a well built solid car over a fancy tech car with a bad paint and unaligned doors.
I agree, but in 2021 Tesla cars don’t have those issues anymore, and paint is better, no orange skin clear coat.
Really good and extensive review by Josep Ricov (as usual). Ordered an iV60 Sportline to be delivered in January 2022. You are formulating the difference between choosing this car over a Tesla very well. Cannot wait to own this vehicle!
At the time there wasn’t Model Y in Europe. I would definitely chose a Tesla. But if you’re looking for a budget basic EV this offers tons of space and simply clever features.

I'm not really interested in this version of the Enyaq but I wanted to see videos of it because I really like the Coupe version coming soon.
Eventhough I really like Tesla cars, I could take this over a Tesla for ONE reason : Comfort.
I didn't test-drive any car since I don't have a license yet (working on it ^^) but as far as I know, Tesla's "sporty" philosophy makes their rides quite bumpy (especially on Model 3)...
The Enyaq and its ride "like a cloud" as you said could be better for people like me seeking comfort over performance.
Little correction about what you said at 31:03 though : The Skoda Enyaq IV, like all the VW IDs HAS OTA Updates !
For example, the latest update on ID (I guess Enyaq will get it too since they almost have the same system) brings Spotify and Apple Music to the infotainment system.
And an article was published this morning on a French website about another update that optimizes the battery use, making it last longer (especially in cold weather) and charge quicker.
Great news! They still need fixing the infotainment bugs. I still think Tesla gives you more value on the long run with new features and resale value.

Thanks for the night review. 3 questions (sorry): can you turn off the exterior car sound for silent EV driving? Is there an option to buy the Crystal Face? 3. Can you precondition the battery (warm it up while it's plugged in to keep the range high in the cold)? Thanks (gave you a thumbs up👍🏼).
1. No (new law, sound is mandatory for all EV to warn pedestrians), 2. Yes, 3. Not 100% sure but I think only when plugged over night. It doesn’t have an option of preheating as Tesla as far as I know. Look up more in Bjørn reviews of ID3&4 he will know.

Great video thanks, can I ask the tailgate open and close function on your key fob. Is this standard on a particular range or is it an optional extra on a pack and if so which option pack. And is it a plus pack option also. Thanks in advance.
It’s a standard feature with powered tailgate on all Škoda and VAG group cars independent of pack.

Well it's actually an interesting comparison between Skoda enyaq and Model Y. My stomach tells me to go for Tesla While my head tells me to think about family, comfort (I drive a lot) and an efficient adaptive cruise control. What do you think?
I would go for a Model Y it’s comfortable, has lots of space, has a frunk. Massive advantage of Tesla is the supercharger network. You get new stuff, infotainment is fast, Tesla app works. It’s very efficient and charges fast. Just a way better value for money.
Enyaq looks good, it’s quality made, but it doesn’t have frunk, infotainment gets laggy and it’s very basic, it’s not very efficient.
@@JRCarReviews thanks Josip! You tested both vehicles, what do you think about suspension? I use to drive in the south of Italy where road are "a little" bumpy.. and is it true that autopilot is not so smart?
@@alessandromasiello4660 bought cars are heavy due to battery suspension might be better on Enyaq if you spec lowest tire dimension. Tesla autopilot keeps improving and it is so much easier to drive with it on especially on long trips.

@@JRCarReviews Here in Finland Tesla supercharges are most expensive option for charging so i don't think it's good option at all even network is great.
It has OTA. Maybe not right now, but it will get it.
One question though: does it have QI charging on both phone holders or only the one closest to the driver?
I believe it’s both, but honestly it didn’t cross my mind to try both.
There's an ad every 2-3 minutes, and thats absolutely the best way to get rid of your viewers!!!
It’s RUclips, not me. They want you to get premium subscription in that case you don’t see adds. I agree they are showing to many adds lately. But making this videos is not free, it cost lots of time and money and add revenue is what’s financing them. Everything is getting more expensive so they are I guess compensating with more adds.
Unfortunately I can only get the iV60 and its limited range is simply not worth it. Can't wait for EV's to get that improved battery tech.
Do I understand correctly that when on ACC in traffic you need to push that button every time to follow the car in front?
I had situations where it continues by it self. And some times I need to push the button. But have I mind I got the car for few hours. I don’t get press cars from Škoda for a week like press do.

Pozdrav, zašto na testu nitko ne uključi radio? Da vidimo kako svira. A ni klimu! Neka bude test sa klimom upaljenom i radiom pa da vidimo koliko troši bateriju. Jer sam gledala puno električnih auta npr. Teslu novu 2021 godište i kad je žena upalila radio sviralo je kao mali prijenosni zvučnik bez basa i bez snage. Hvala

Super auto, kad bude AWD bit će još bolji ali to čekanje na punjenje i nedostatak punionica, planiranje puta u detalje, nema slobode i spontanosti... da je bar plug-in hibrid sa 4x4...
Punjenje nije nešto dugo jer kad putuješ ne puniš cijelu bateriju nego samo dio da stigneš do odredišta. Punionica u HR ima dovoljno na AC i u većim gradovima. U Zagrebu nije problem. Realno uz jedno punjenje stigneš bez probelma do Istre i Dalmacije i Zagreba.

Bit of everything for 4 years...
Laggy MCU that often gets stuck, too low range, very high price, very ugly front grille design, lower quality than standard for a Skoda, low motor power output, too low charge speed for long drives, boring colour selection. If you want a hauler and don't care about design then this might be ok for you.
That beautiful yellow prototype they showed is not this car. Skoda got everyone excited and then failed to deliver. They managed to make an even more boring Skoda car...
