She is the best female dancer in the industry. She picks up choreography and executes it lightning fast.
I took classes in a dance studio and that stuff is WAY harder than people think.
I’m a huge Janet fan and i love it. I didn’t know she got into it with Jimmy jam and Terry lol her voice is so little it was kind of funny seeing her argue
Your singing makes me smile 🌞
Thank You! 😂🥰
@@StruggleReviewzTV Aw, you're welcome
So glad Rebbie was on here and cleared up those rumors of the “secret baby “
I never believed it!
My mom swears by it! She said that she and Janet were pregnant at the same time, but Janet never had the baby.
@@brandon_jo_el Donnie Simpson congratulated Janet and James on the birth of their daughter live on an episode of Video Soul on 1985. They were playing Janet's music all over the radio that day😊 #ALLEGEDLY
@@missbee1451 my mother said the same thing. She said she remembers it that they were congratulating her on her baby girl. My mother said this last night. My Mom isn’t tech savvy so she told me to look it up on the internet , but I told her I couldn’t find anything on it. She was shocked! She kept saying, “I know what I saw”.

I actually liked Janet’s response about her father’s disciplinary actions. “Discipline without love is Tyranny and Joe wasn’t a Tyrant”. She’s low key telling us that Jo wasn’t the horrible monster most of us portray him as. He had a method to his madness and he raised 9 children who were never in jail or on drugs and all successful in their own right.
I liked that too I just want her to speak more! I’m nosey and what the inside scoop not the da Vinci code😭 if not her then who LaToya? We all know she hasn’t always been a reliable source 😂 Come On Rebbie feel us in! It’s all up to you girl! ❤️
@@StruggleReviewzTV 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe not when they lived with him but definitely after. Michael even made a song about his drug use.
I mean, Joe brought in sex workers and had sex with them in the same room as his children when touring with The Jackson 5. Let's not pretend that Joe wasn't abuse because we keep wanting to find "a reason" to explain away all the pain he caused because we feel a need to rationalize trauma, as being "necessary" or "a good thing actually", in order to "toughen one up to the outside world". But it's not. Trauma does not make you inherently stronger. It doesn't build character. It doesn't happen for any good or deeper reason. It just hurts you. The real strength comes from taking the steps to heal and overcome the trauma.
F.D. Signifier said it best, "Tough love is just trauma we've mythologized as useful." And the road to recovery/betterment/improvement _is_ a long one, but it is doable and you don't have to walk it alone.
I was initially excited, but it still seems like she's only sharing at her comfort level
That’s what I’m feeling but I’m gonna wait until the end!
Come on, chain! I honestly teared up seeing her revisit Gary, Indiana. Especially when she passed the Genesis Convention Center. G.I. is actually my hometown.
I grew up there, and it was a great city at the time, and especially in the 70's. My mom actually lived a street down from them, and remembered seeing them back then.
Seeing it now always upsets me. I have so many beautiful memories there, and I wished they had shown it in its former glory. 🙏🙏🙏
She may not have wanted to be a entertainer at first. But it seems she lives for the stage performances. She always seems happy to tour👍🏽
I just love your singing , good taste in music and films .
Thank You! 🥰
Janet is a Queen. She's earned doing it her way.
I thought the documentary was interesting. Most of it I already knew because I've grew up listening to The Jacksons. I've seen Michael and his brothers in concert twice back in the 1980's; The Victory Tour and Bad Tour. I've seen Janet during The Velvet Rope Tour in 1998. 💫🙏🏾👍🏾👏🏾🇺🇸
* You have a good voice!!🗣🎤 🎶
If someone's sharing themselves then you can expect them to only share what they want to. Now had it been me, my doc would've included my accomplishments, maybe some of my public struggles and all the good parts. Had someone else told it, they might've exposed all of my ugly secrets and juicy details.
She repeated something Michael told her a couple time
Practice
Don’t quit
Have self confidence
I think she has applied this in her life. She kept her head down and kept moving, confident that she was ready for whatever.
I always love to see these never before seen footage videos in recent documentarys to get the remastered treatment to look very clean and see how they were and acted when the spotlight is off.
The documentary was eye opening. I knew that she dated JD, but never knew that they were dating way before her Super Bowl situation. And the fact that she told Justin Timberlake not to say anything. That she would deal with it. I been a fan.
Great review!! Part 1 was lite to me, I'm read for part 2
U did a great job describing the documentary
Thank you ! ❤️
James DeBarge's drug addiction stemmed from the abuse he suffered at the hands of his oldest brother Bobby. Bobby abused James because James was their father's favorite child and Bobby was abused the worst by their father.
Janet used to be a lot more open about her feelings regarding Joseph. I remember in 2010 her almost breaking down because she wasn’t 100% sure if he loved her. Like she said he did, but it was like she was saying it to convince herself. And she tried to make him an integral part of her life for so long, and as a fan it was hard to see.
I do think Joseph softened in his later years, and the fact that she was one of his few children that saw him after his strokes says a lot about how far they came. By the time he died I think that she made her peace with him.
Great review, I got to start watching the documentary, everybody says its worth watching, Im a fan of Janet Jackson, my favorite album of hers has to be Rhythm Nation 1814
I think the next episode she should go deeper. I wish it was six hours
I love looking at video documentary of albums, being made. Concerts dance rehearsals.
I agree, I agree..... I enjoy the unseen footage that was it. But I am glad that she got to tell her own truth cause we know it's going to be a mess once she enters the upper room.
I always find it funny that people expect artists to share deep dark secrets in these docs. You all dont tell all your business to the World..sooo🤷♂️✌️
I know about her when she a kid grown up I watch her an Mj both be came stars.
Does anyone know if she responded to the Bobby Brown biopic? Cause if ANYTHING needed to be cleared up... lol.
No she did not ! I was waiting on that too!
@@StruggleReviewzTV Oh well. I guess I'll just keep thinking that she's "Jackie" from Don't Be Cruel, then. Lol
She only did this documentary to paint her dad in a good light there was no real honesty in this documentary if you can tell the documentary basically focused on her family and her career more than her actual life for all that she should have just done a documentary on her career and success
Its so sad how you wanted 'tea' on Joe's alleged abuse but never acknowledge the positive comments that she made about her father..how sad
It was boring tbh.
I hoping it picks up near the end and she didn’t gather us here for nothing 😭
@@StruggleReviewzTV It was nothing we didn’t already know and I don’t like how they did the switch up with Joe. Was Joe a villain or was he not? I understand respecting the dead but I don’t like how they paint people different to how they were in death.
Definitely seemed like there was a lot of information told that was already well known, rewriting of history at some other points in the doc and glossing over other points.....👶🏽
She may not have wanted to be a entertainer at first. But it seems she lives for the stage performances. She always seems happy to tour👍🏽
