- NEW! Let me show you how I take a magazine and incorporate my journaling into it. The June flip is the return of the monthly magazine journaling I've done for over three years, but this time I'm showing you how I take THIS (the Bella Grace Magazine) and make it THAT (my journal)!

Loved hearing and seeing your thought process, and the contrast “this to that”. The white pens are my top two mark making pens along with black Micron pens. Thank you for sharing these details, it is clicking with me and gradually bringing new thought processing into the light. I am on a cliff grasping for something but just not sure what it is yet! There is something in your work and process that is speaking to that void, I am getting closer to hearing that inner voice.

Hi Joanne! Bella Grace magazine is part of the Stampington/Somerset magazines. You don't need a Bella Grace to do this - any magazine that you like will work. Love your videos and have watched a few this evening, like you say, just not enough time for everything in a day. I have been a subbie for a while and wanted to say that I really love your new format...from this to that❤. Very good editing. Love the outlining idea. BUT...HOW about incorporating a PIC OF YOU, playing your guitar, especially because you are breaking the strings while playing. There is something to journal about. ❤

Hi Diamond Lee! YAY - happy to hear my timing was right! Aren't those hydrangeas amazing!?! They started out three years ago as gallon containers and have continued to grow and bloom. I don't do anything specific to make them that beautiful. I understand about not journaling every day - I don't either. I just do it whenever I feel like it or there is something I actually want to document. It works much better for me this way too. TFW and leaving your sweet comment! Those hydrangeas are gorgeous. I've noticed you have to really put on your thinking creative cap for these pages. Are you much more satisfied trying to incorporate the background of the magazine into your journal?
Hi Dolores! I cannot take any credit for those hydrangeas. I don't do anything to them other than water them occasionally. They have just taken off! I love them too. YES, I am really finding the creative process a lot more fun trying to figure out how to incorporate my art and journaling onto the page. It's awesome! TFW! Wonderful pages and you did good to get rid of all that darkness, we have enough of that in our lives sometimes without seeing it on every page of a magazine. Tfs xo
Hi Elizabeth! Amen on the all the darkness in our lives today.....it's amazing how those pages are difficult to work with when they are so dark. Short of just gessoing the pages, it took some time to figure out how I could at least brighten them up. I'm pretty happy with the result. July has a few more pages with white space - thank goodness. I've never thought about digital downloads much until I see the fun ways you create with them. 😊 Can't wait for more videos 😃 I'm addicted heehee. xo Beth
Hi Beth! Thanks so much! I do make some of the digital downloads that I have used - you'll find them in different videos entitled "Five Minutes Quirky Characters". I have links to my downloads and the collage sheets are all FREE. I also used digit that I have bought from a number of different vendors.
