CLAREMORE, Oklahoma -
Large tornado crossing through Claremore, Oklahoma viewed from HWY-88 south bound. Numerous power explosions were seen to the south as this large white tornado crossed through the area. Downtown Claremore was hit hard along HWY-20. Numerous homes sustained damage, trees uprooted, and debris strewn everywhere.

This has got to be one of the wildest years for tornados on record. Every day there are tons of videos from dozens of storms and it’s been going like this for weeks!

This was an unforgettable experience. Being in a tornado is like experiencing an atmospheric earthquake. The power in the atmosphere is unreal and the sound is like a rumbling train jet.

I live in Claremore and this footage, part of it, is from across the street from my mom and lil brother. They had to chainsaw their way out. My brother was able to get out a window to get to the garage. So much damage, yet no fatalities in Claremore proper. MIRACLE, def. a miracle. We get the sirens so much, I feared complacency. Looks like the vast majority took heed. Thank you for the footage. I've been looking!

born and raised in Claremore, OK. I now live in a neighboring town, and had the sirens going off at ~11:30pm 5/26/2024. Seeing the damage is surreal vs how ik what it looked like before the damage

This was the tornado that went through Claremore, ok. May 25th 2024. I know, my son and daughter lived through it. My daughter lives in the trailer park that was hit, it was on the news. It went past Claremore, down hwy 20, hit KOA at Will Rogers Down and Pryor where 2 people died. Still dealing with clean up.
